CONRAD R. SCHOCK, JR., MATAMORAS, PENNSYLVANIA

Conrad R. Schock, Jr. "The Engineer", age 83, of Matamoras, PA., passed into the arms of his savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday October 2, 2012 at his home. He was born on March 27, 1929 in Port Jervis, NY. He is the son of the late Conrad R. Schock, Sr. And Clara Fick Schock. He was a lifetime member of the Port Jervis Lodge of Elks, #645 B.P.O.E. Matamoras Rod & Gun Club, NRA, and the Port Jervis Lodge of Masons # 328 F &AM. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors and the D & H Square Dancing. Conrad was a self-employed excavator for Ellie's Transit out of Matamoras, PA. He was a lover of Life and the Lord who created it. He was a great Teacher with the Patience of a Saint. He had a passion for "How things worked" and a great trouble shooter, an unbelievable High-Tech Excavator, who could fix anything but only," perfectly". He loved to have fun, to dance, to sing and laugh with those who would share his laughter. He was God Loving and would do or give to those in need before he would take anything for himself. He loved and provided for his family and in the tough times he would never give up, always with God on his shoulder He prevailed.His Love and Care for his wife was a great example for his children. He was such an inspiration and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. God Bless you Conrad "Ronnie" Schock Jr. until we meet again. He is survived by his beloved wife Eleanor H. Clark Schock of 59 years who resides at home, his Son Conrad R. Schock, III and wife Tina of Matamoras, PA, 4 daughters Nancy Theodore and husband Frank of Matamoras, PA, Laurie Sanz and fiancé Robert Perras of Massachusetts, Cindy Schoch and husband Chuck of Rio, NY, and Diane Ardler of Matamoras, PA, 17 Grandchildren; Zachary, Lexy, Stefani, & Jessica Schock, Frankie, Shawn, & Eddie Theodore, Amy, Ashley, & Brian Sanz, Danielle, Joshua, Amanda, & Heather Schoch, Eric and Austin Ardler, 8 great-grandchildren. 2 sisters; Arlene Malone and husband Richard, and Clara Tripodo, his brother Larry Schock and wife Terry, sister-in-law Barbara Schock and a brother-in-law Russell Schumacher and several nieces and nephews. Conrad was pre-deceased by his brother Alden"Bub" Schock, his sister Dorothea Schumacher, his grandson Conrad R. Schock, IV and his brother-in-law Joseph Tripodo. Friends may call Thursday October 4, 2012 from 6:00-9:00pm at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis, NY 12771 and on Friday October 5 from 12 noon to 1 PM at the Milford Bible Church, 110 Foxcroft Road, Milford, Pa.. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM a the Milford Bible Church. Rev. Russel Hepler and Rev. Robert Elliott will officiate. Interment will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, 115 W Harford St., Milford, Pa. 18336. Arrangements are by the Knight-Auchmoody Funeal Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.
