John T. Carey, Jr. age 42 of Westtown, NY passed away Friday, August 21, 2020 at his home. He was born on February 28, 1978 in Port Jervis, NY the son of John T. Carey, Sr. and Beverly Walsh Carey. He is survived by his sister, Lynn Carey of the State of Florida, his aunt and uncle, Karen and Charles Satter of Westtown. Cremation will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Margaret C. Martin, 83, of Sparrowbush, NY passed away at home surrounded by her
family on August 21, 2020. Margaret was born on September 14, 1936 to Alexander
and Katherine (Cooley) Quinn in Bronx, NY.
Margaret, known as “Micki” or “Mick” to her family and friends, worked as a
bookkeeper/tax preparer for Earl C. Edwards Accounting of Port Jervis until
branching out on her own. Eventually, after tiring of traveling, she would
return to working steady as the bookkeeper for Tom Quick Inn, Royal Furniture,
and Eddy Farm Resort until upon her retirement.
Micki liked to knit or crochet, garden when the mood struck her, read mystery
novels and listen to music. In her younger years, she was a member of the choir
at the Forestburgh Summer Theatre, known today as the Forestburgh Playhouse.
Micki was married, for 63 years, to the love of her life, John F. Martin, until
his passing April 2, 2017. She is survived by her three children; David J.
Martin and wife Patricia of Huguenot, Daniel H. Martin and wife Eva of Glen
Spey, Diane M. Amell and husband Steven of Sparrowbush, six grandchildren;
Jessica Neighardt, John G. Martin and wife Jessica, Cassandra L. Zube and
husband Christian, Danielle M. Fairchild and husband Matt, Candace N. Shanks and
husband Jonathan, Jillian F. Martin and fiancé Dave Johnson, nine great
grandchildren, three younger brothers; Al, John, and Patrick Quinn, and many
nieces and nephews.
Due to covid 19, the family has decided on graveside services to be held 11am,
Wednesday, August 26th, at Pine Hill Cemetery in Sparrowbush, NY. Rev. *****
will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions

Nancy J. Brewster age 82 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2020 at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, NY. She was born on May 29, 1938 in Port Jervis, the daughter of Levi and Lucille Mineau Percival. Nancy graduated from Port Jervis High School, Class of 1956. She always enjoyed meeting with her classmates once a month to plan their next reunion. Nancy retired as a receptionist for Dr. King in Port Jervis. She also spent many years working for JC Penney in Port Jervis as well as Williams Printing in Matamoras, PA. Nancy was an avid gardener and loved being involved with all of her children’s, grandchildren's, and neighbors activities, sporting events, school plays, concerts or any endeavor they might be engaged in. She loved going to Broadway, Community theatre productions and Forestburgh. Nancy supported the high school football and cheerleading programs as well as the music and drama departments. Nancy was the former Coordinator of Port Jervis Pop Warner where she ran the entire cheerleading program and advanced cheerleading in the area. She is survived by her two daughters, Sheryl J. Taylor of Jacksonville, Florida, and Debra J. Brewster of Port Jervis, her two sons, William D. Brewster and his wife Wendy of Port Jervis, and Jeffrey M. Brewster of Port Jervis, her three sisters; Barbara Troast of Ocala, Florida, Patricia Wheeling of Matamoras, Pennsylvania, and Janet Bradley of Lady Lake, Florida, her two brothers, George Percival of Pompono Beach, Florida, and Richard Percival of Coopersburg, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren; Kirtis McGlynn, Ashleigh Stewart, Matthew Stewart, Justin Brewster and his fiancé Jacklyn, several nieces and nephews. Nancy was pre-deceased by her two brothers, Douglas “Fritz” Percival and Robert Percival. Memorial services will be announced at a later date. Bartholomew Charles “Charlie” Lissner age 86 of Port Jervis, NY passed away August 20, 2020 at Bon Secours Hospital, Port Jervis. He was born on June 21, 1934 in Long Island City, Queens, NY, the son of Charles and Mary Robinson Lissner. Charlie proudly served our country during the Korean War with the US Army. In October 1962, Charlie married Ida R. Cordisco Lissner, who predeceased him. He retired as a supervising custodian for the Port Jervis School System after many years of dedicated service. He was a faithful member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Port Jervis, a former member of the Knights of Columbus Council 471 and a member of the Port Jervis Rod & Gun Club. In later years Charlie was a Leader of Boy Scouts Troop #173 in Port Jervis. He is survived by his son Michael Lissner and his wife Krista of Sparrowbush, his daughter Jane Lissner of Biddeford, Maine, his sister Mary Lissner of Grahamsville, NY, his beloved grandchildren, Christopher and Megan Lissner, as well as several nieces and nephews who were an important part of his life. Visitation will be held 2-5 PM, Sunday, August 23 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Due to Covid Restrictions, a limited number of people will be allowed in the funeral home at one time. There may be a wait time. Amy B. Lazier, age 52 of Port Jervis,NY passed away at Bon Secours Community Hospital Port Jervis on August 5, 2020. She was born on March 13, 1968 at Sunnyside Hospital, Port Jervis, New York. It was National Girl scout week at the time of her birth and Amy became an honorable girl scout. She is the daughter of the late Richard and Kathleen Conniff Masker. Amy is survived by her daughter Jennifer Lynn Lazier of Port Jervis, NY. She is also survived by her former husband Arnold (Jake) Lazier Jr., her companion Vincent Strickland of Port Jervis, NY, her two sisters; Stacey Kurtz and husband David of Port Jervis, Dawn Masker and companion John Hiatt of Matamoras, PA;, her Godfather Steven Conniff and his wife Jo, her step-son Jake Lazier and his wife Stephanie of PA. Amy was predeceased by her loving daughter Kayla Marie Lazier, her sister Tammy Lynn, and her mother-in-law Helen Lazier. Amy was a very caring and loving person, she saw the best in everyone.
