MARJORIE CORRADO, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK

Marjorie Corrado, age 91 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at the Ellen Memorial Health & Rehabilitation Facility, Honesdale, Pa. She was born on June 18, 1921 in Port Jervis, NY, the daughter of the late Robert H. and Ruth Hazen Hamilton. Marjorie proudly served our country during WW II in the WAAC, US Army. She attended St. Jacobi's Lutheran Church in Shohola, Pa. Marjorie married Thomas P. Corrado, who pre-deceased her in 1996. She is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Dilger and her husband Paul of Shohola, Pa., her son, Thomas Corrado of Sparrowbush, her grandchildren, Eric Dilger and his wife Marie , Jason Dilger and his wife Lisa, Aimee Scarimastro and her husband Mark, Jody, Michael and Kim Corrado. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Cathy Corrado. Friends may call Saturday, June 1, from 11 AM- 12 Noon at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Funeral services will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home with Rev. Rolf Buchmann officiating. Interment will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, NY. THERESA F. BLOOD-BAILLARGEON-LATINI, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK

Theresa F Blood - Baillargeon-Latini, age 90 of Port Jervis,NY passed away peacefully early Sunday morning of April 29th in Virginia Beach, Va. She was born March 21, 1923 in Fall River, MA.. The daughter of John A and Alice Bergeron Blood. Theresa married Paul V. Latini, who pre-deceased her in 1991. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy J Reilly, of Tampa Fl. , her son Henri A. Baillargeon Jr. and her daughter-in-law Ginny, of Virginia Beach VA. Her grandchildren Kathryn Murphy and husband Kenneth, of Tampa FL, Andrew P. Baillargeon, of Atlanta, GA and Rebecca S Baillargeon and great-grandson Ryan, of Virginia Beach, VA. She is also survived by her sister, Kathleen Blood, of Chesapeake, VA. Theresa left high school before her senior year in order to support her family. At age eighteen she worked full time at a textile mill during the day and in the evening worked full-time along side her father in a munitions plant supporting the war effort. As a military dependent, she moved over 15 times as she raised her two children in some very challenging environments. After her marriage to Paul Latini, she settled in Port Jervis,where she lived for over 35 years, a time she described as "the happiest of my life". Theresa was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis, a member of the AARP Chapter #2380, the Cancer Support Group, and was a lifetime member of the DAV auxiliary. She was a volunteer at the Veterans Hospital at Castle Point where she wrote letters for disabled and ill patients. She used her experience as a nurses aide to care for family and neighbors.She was loved by all who knew her and charmed all who met her. Friends may call Friday, May 31 from 12 noon to 1 PM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Funeral services will follow at 1PM at the funeral home, with Fr. BARBARA R. FISHER, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK

Barbara R. Fisher, age 84 of Port Jervis, NY, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at her home. She was born on December 27, 1928 in Walden, NY, the daughter of the late Herbert and Alvena Oliva Dunworth. Barbara graduated from the Lenox Hill School of Nursing in NYC, NY attaining her degree as a Registered Nurse. She worked at St. Francis Hospital, Port Jervis and the Milford Valley Convalescent Health Care Facility until her retirement. Barbara married LeRoy "Bud" Fisher, who pre-deceased her. She is survived by her 2 sons, Bradford Fisher of Danbury, Conn., and Blake Fisher and his wife Teena of Port Jervis, her sister, Renee Ernst of Toronto, Canada, 4 grandchildren, Collin, Alexa, Victoria and Rebecca Fisher and several nieces and nephews. Services and interment will be private. Rev. Patt Kauffman will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to the Port Jervis-Deerpark Humane Society, Route 209, Port Jervis, NY 12771. JOHN "JACK" DEDRICK, SYLVANIA, OHIO, FORMERLY OF PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK

John "Jack" Dedrick, age 91 formerly of Port Jervis, NY passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Ebeid Hospice, in Sylvania, Ohio. He was born on April 28, 1922 in New York City, NY, and was raised in the loving care of Martha and Robert Dedrick of Sparrowbush, NY, who preceded him in death. John proudly served our country during WW II with the US Army, serving in Newfoundland, Canada and Europe. Jack retired from Ford Motor Co., in Mawah, New Jersey. He is survived by his daughter, Diane Dedrick of Holland, Ohio. Per his request funeral services and interment are private. Arrangements are by the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. ANTONIO ROBLES SEDA, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK

Antonio Robles Seda, age 79 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at his home. He was born on June 20, 1933 in Manati, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Maximo and Dominga Seda Robles. Tony worked for many years as a chef at Homer's Restaurant in Port Jervis. He was a member of the Port Jervis Lodge of Elks, #645 B.P.O.E. He was formerly married to Marie B. Robles, who survives of Fairfax, North Carolina. He is also survived by his 4 sons, Juan Antonio Robles of Paterson, NJ, Rocky Robles Seda of Port Jervis, Antonio Robles, Jr. of Rexville, NY, and John Ayala of Fairfax, S.C., 5 daughters, Margarita Robles of Puerto Rico, Anita Robles Varnadoe of Fairfax, S.C., Vana Robles Sanders of Blackville, S.C., Carmine Robles of Puerto Rico and Rosa Ayala Loadholt of S.C., 2 sisters, Maria Robles and Edie Robles both of Puerto Rico, 3 brothers, Pedro and Ramon Robles both of Puerto Rico and Ralphael Robles of Boston, Mass., several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation was from 12 noon to 1 pm Friday May 24, 2013 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Funeral services were held at 1 PM at the funeral home with Fr. George LaGrutta officiating. Cremation took place at MacLennan Hall Crematorium, Milford, Pa. Interment of the cremains will take place in Puerto Rico. Isabel Flores, age 92 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Thursday May 16, 2013 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, NY. She was born on February 19, 1921 in Hormigueros, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Juan and Benita G. Mercado Gonzalez. Isabel married Benjamin Flores, who pre-deceased her. She is survived by her daughter, Eleana Preiskines and her husband Thomas of Milford, Pa., 2 sons, Benjamin Flores and his wife Shantel of Brooklyn, NY, and David Flores of Port Jervis, 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Snyder and her husband Dale, Jaclyn Tagliani and her fiancé Brad and Claudio Tagliani, 2 great grandchildren Kayla and Keira, 2 nephews, Freddy and his wife Cheryl and Fidel. Visitation and funeral services were held on Monday , May 20, at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. ROSE A. SARNO, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK

Rose A. Sarno, age 102 of Port Jervis, NY passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at St. Joseph's Place, Port Jervis, NY. She was born on February 5, 1911 in Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary Carlucci Calabrese. Rose worked for many years as the parish secretary for St. Mary's R.C. Church in Port Jervis. She is a faithful member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, a member of the Catholic Daughters, Court Madonna #114, Port Jervis and a former Cub Scout Den Mother. Rose was presented the key to the City of Port Jervis on her 100th birthday and the Mayor proclaimed the day as Rose Sarno Day in her honor. Rose married Louis P. Sarno, who pre-deceased her. She is survived by her 3 sons, Lawrence Sarno of Ormond Beach, Florida, Louis Sarno of Tucson, AZ., and Charles Sarno and his wife Christine of Wantage, New Jersey, her 2 daughters, Mary Ann McCarthy and her husband Michael of Port Jervis, and Regina Castle and her husband Charles of Kingston, NY., her sister, Jean Diacovo of Kingston, NY, 10 grandchildren, her special granddaughter, Luann McCarthy, Michael P. McCarthy and his wife Lori, Lisa McCullough and her husband Brian, Tracy Newman and her husband Andrew, Kevin Castle and his wife Doreen, Toni Cook and her husband Michael, Larry Sarno, Christine Becker and her husband Joe, Skyler Sarno and Nicole Sarno, 9 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Rose was pre-deceased by her 2 brothers, Leonard and Frank Calabrese, and 4 sisters, Josephine and Elizabeth Calabrese, Theresa LaRue and Marie Valgento. WARD W. ADAMS, MATAMORAS, PENNSYLVANIA

Ward W. Adams, age 89 of Matamoras, Pennsylvania, passed away Tuesday May 7, 2013 at Belle Reve, Milford, Penna. He was born on July 15, 1923 in Phillipsport, NY, the son of the late Merlin and Edith Herling Strait. He proudly served our country during WW II with the U.S. Army Air Force. He worked for the City of Port Jervis as a Deputy Superintendent for the Dept. of Public Works until his retirement. Ward was a charter member of the Westfall Fire Dept. and Past Chief, he was a member of the Milford Lodge of Masons, # 344 F & AM, Milford, Pa., and a member of the Roosa-Fleming V.F. W. Post #161, Port Jervis. He was an avid hunter and a love of the outdoors. Ward married Elsie Brown Adams, who pre-deceased him on December 18, 2012. He is survived by his son, Ward "Sam" Adams, his daughter-in-law, Deborah Adams of Matamoras, , his grandson, Woodrow W. Adams and his wife Jessica, his granddaughter, Chelsea A. Adams, and 2 great grandchildren, Leah Haas and Avery Adams. He was pre-deceased by his 2 sons, Gale "Woody" Adams and Kenneth A. Adams.
