LINDA G. BRINK, MATAMORAS, PENNSYLVANIA

LINDA G. BRINK

June 11, 1953 – March 5, 2021

Matamoras, PA

After a courageous battle with cancer, Linda Grace (Culver) Brink, of Matamoras, PA, passed peacefully away on Friday, March 5, 2021 surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was born on June 11, 1953, the daughter of the late William “Buck” Culver and Doris Theodore Culver Cole.

Linda was a 1971 graduate of the Delaware Valley High School. She attended the Hope Evangelical Church in Matamoras, and was a past member of the Elks Women’s Bowling League. She enjoyed the seashore, oldies music, barbecues and get-togethers, and her “puddies” - who brought joy to her life.

Under the guidance of her Aunt “Onie”, Linda learned the trade of bookkeeping at the family business, Culver Motors; and went on to be the successful proprietor of the Erie Hotel & Restaurant, Trackside Manor & Tiki Bar in Port Jervis, NY. She was well respected and loved by her Erie staff, who were like a second family to her.

Linda is survived by three devoted sons: Daryll McKeeby and companion, Casey of Matamoras; Jeremy (JD) Brink and wife, Hannah of Port Jervis; and Jon Brink and companion, Aly of Matamoras; and grandchildren: Cameron McKeeby, Michael McKeeby and Jacob Brink. She is also survived by her brother, William Culver, wife Jackie and niece Sydney; step-brothers, Richard “Punky” Cole and Mark Cole; uncle, Edwin Culver; aunt, Carole Trafford; cousins who were like sisters, Doris Ann Wood and Susie Howard; many other cousins near and far; former husbands, Dick McKeeby and Stanley Brink; and countless friends and acquaintances.

Linda’s life was devoted to those she loved. She was exceptionally caring and willing to help anyone in need. Her home was like home to many friends, family and stray cats. She will be deeply missed, and her unconditional love, courage and strength will remain in our hearts forever.

The family would like to thank the staff of Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice; staff of Bon Secours Hospital; Dr. Manuel Perry of Crystal Run; nurse, Lori Gentry and neighbor, Marilyn Sigreto for all their help with Linda's care. Special thanks to her cousin and primary caregiver, Doris Ann Wood, and her loyal friend, Loretta Card for their kindness and devotion to Linda during these difficult times.

There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to Jill Wojtaszek (Trap-Neuter-Release & Adoptions) in Port Jervis, NY, to honor Linda’s special love for cats.
