Patricia J. Rollins age 61 of Sparrowbush, NY passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at her home. She was born in New York City, NY on July 2, 1954 the daughter of the late Oliver “ Pop” and JoAnn Cavallo Rollins. Patricia worked as a waitress at the Goshen Diner in Goshen, NY. She was a member of St. John The Evangelist RC Church in Goshen, NY and attended North Bay Chapel in Southport, Florida. She is survived by her two daughters Dietra Warren and her husband Bubba of Bayou George, Florida, Durann Rollins and her significant other Scottie Parchment of Sparrowbush, NY, her son Clarence Rollins and his significant other Charlotte of Panama City, Florida; six grandchildren: Joseph Warren, Trenton, Alyssa, Aaliyah, Krista Rollins and Pierce Gilley, her brother Peter A.H. Rollins and his wife Laura of Goshen, her nephew Peter Rollins, Jr, her beloved dogs BB, Beau,and Cricket. She was pre-deceased by her grand daughter Jayden Rollins. David Michael Aber Ph.D. of Sparrowbush, NY passed unexpectedly on Friday, December 25, 2015 at Hartford Hospital in Hartford, CT.
Born on May 15, 1957 in Port Jervis, NY, the son of Gertrude Aber and her late husband, Robert D. Aber of Sparrowbush, he earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Clarkson University, and both a Master of Science in Manufacturing Systems and Engineering and Ph.D. from Lehigh University. During his career he was involved with CAD/CAM, Product Lifecycle Management and the 3DExperience with assignments at both IBM and Dassault Systems. Well respected in his field, he served on the Board of Directors of COE (a forum for Product Life Cycle software); he was also an elected member of the COE College of Fellows.
David married his wife of 35 years, Suzanne Lynn Onofry who survives him, along with his much beloved daughter, Lauren Michelle Aber, a 2013 graduate of Trinity College with a B.S. in Chemistry, and a 2015 graduate of Quinnipiac University with a M.S. in Biomedical Sciences. She now attends Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
Building much of their life together in Dutchess County, David and his family maintained ties to the area. An avid outdoors man and Eagle Scout, David was a member of the Cahoonzie Club and the Federation of Sportsmen’s Clubs of Sullivan County (a tradition continued upon his father’s passing, and for which David handcrafted 75 birdhouse kits for children to build this year); he also routinely donated time to a local food pantry. Upon retirement David set up an independent consulting practice based out of his Sparrowbush home, allowing him to dedicate time to his family, friends, projects and passions.
Along with his wife, daughter, and mother, David is survived by his siblings: Bryan C. Aber of Gakona, AK, Gary R. Aber (Pat) of Pleasant Valley, NY and Barbara A. Ryan (Sean) of Wakeforest, NC. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Dorothy M. Onofry, of Port Jervis, his brothers and sisters-in-law and their spouses, and many nieces and nephews on both sides of the family.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 30th at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY; Rev. William McGinty will officiate.

Phyllis M. Garms age 85 of Port Jervis sadly passed away at Bon Secour Community Hospital on Christmas Day, December 25, 2015 surrounded by her family. She was born on July 17, 1930 in Port Jervis, NY the daughter of Morgan and Ella Hartz Mosher. Her family stated, “ She was a loving and proud mother and grandmother. She will forever be remembered for always putting others before herself. She had the most generous and loving heart and touched many lives with her presence. Her family will always be thankful for the gift that was her life. Nothing made her happier than being with her family, especially her grandson Shaun who dedicated many hours a day spending time with her and caring for her. On a day of gift giving God has received the greatest gift of all. We all love her and will miss her more than words can say.” Phyllis married Edward R. Garms who pre-deceased her in 1976. She is survived by her daughters Sandy Garms, Linda Quick, Dawn Sobolewski and her husband Bob, Cathy O’Brien and her husband Tom; her sons Allan Garms and his wife Lynne, Dick Garms and his wife Marika, her grandchildren, Garrett, Jason, Rachael, Mike, Joe, Chris, Christina, Natasha and Shaun, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Margaret V. Cordisco age 95 of Port Jervis passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis. She was born on September 26, 1920 in Port Jervis, the daughter of Herbert and Susan Morgan Bonney. In her early years Margaret worked as a clerk for Woolworth’s Store in Port Jervis and as a telephone operator for Bell Telephone Co. She then worked as a teacher’s aide for the Port Jervis School District until her retirement. She was a faithful member of St. Mary’s RC Church, Port Jervis. the Catholic Daughters Court Madonna, #114, the Port Jervis Senior Citizens and National AARP. Margaret married Mario V. Cordisco who pre-deceased her in 1976. She is survived by her two daughters JoAnn Grey and her husband James of Lake George, NY, Diane Creamer and her husband Jerry of Lovettsville, Virginia, her son Michael Cordisco and his wife Claudia of Sparrowbush, her grandchildren David, Val, Margo, Jim, J.R., Andrew, Alex and Jillian, her great grandchildren Devin, Keegan, Rowan, Reese, several nieces, nephews her beloved pet dog, “Lucky”. Theresa "Terry" Edwards age 82 of the Town of Greenville passed away Thursday, December 10 at the home of her niece Barbara Sauschuck surrounded by her family. Terry was born on October 29, 1933 in Goshen, NY, the daughter of Joseph J. and Bertha Dudek Banach. In her earlier years Terry worked at Woolworth's, Port Jervis in the stationery department. She then worked as a waitress at Holiday Lakes in Montague, NJ. She was a loving and caring health care giver to many local residents. Terry was a faithful member of Holy Cross R.C. Church in South Centerville, and a communicant of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Port Jervis. She was an active member of the Ladies Auxiliary, V.F. W. Post #3175, Greenville Terry traveled extensively with her late husband Andrew "Jim" Edwards. She is survived by her three sisters, Mary Jo Chandler of Sparrowbush, Caroline Banach and Alice Lapriore both of Port Jervis, her brother Joseph Banach and his wife Diane of Matamoras, PA, her sister-in-law Helen Banach of Greenville and her beloved nieces and nephews.
