Kevin M. Cooper, age 62 of Port Jervis, NY and lifetime resident of the area, died Monday July 20th, 2020 at Westchester Medical Center; he was 62. Born December 9, 1957 in Port Jervis, he is the son of the late William and Catherine Hinkley Cooper.
He is survived by the love of his life, Jackie O'Connell; his sister, Rose Cooper Tilstra of Cape Coral, FL and her family Amy Outwater and fiance Freddy Colon; Brian Balmos and his wife, Colleen both of Port Jervis; his sister-in-law, Robin Cooper of Glen Spey, NY and family, Gerayln Hendrick and husband, Jim of Plano, TX, Diane Barile and husband, Rob of Mechanicville, NY; William Cooper of Rahway, NJ; nephew, Andrew Leicht and husband, Ramon Leite of North Caldwell, NJ; Erik Leicht and wife, Kayla of Port Jervis. Kevin is also survived by several great nieces and great nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, William J. Cooper and Gerald Patrick Cooper; his sister, Cathleen L. Cooper Leicht Smith and brother-in-law, Kenneth Tilstra.
Kevin was an avid Giants fan, a hard worker, loved the outdoors, cooking, family get togethers, and walks with his beloved dog Benny before his passing on April 10th, 2019. He was loved dearly by his entire family and will be greatly missed. Cremation will take place privately. Memorial services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Daniel R. Leonard age 63 of Middletown, NY and formerly of Port Jervis, NY passed away Sunday, July 19, at Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY. He was born on March 29, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY the son of Julius C. Leonard and the late Doris Best Leonard. He attended Ft. Hamilton High school in Brooklyn, NY. Daniel was self employed as a landscaper. Daniel was pre-deceased by his mother Doris and sister Cynthia Nay his first wife Shirley Gandy Leonard and his second wife Cheryl Bellucci Leonard. He is survived by his father Julius “Sarge” Leonard of Parksville, NY, his beloved children; Sherry Gandy of Middletown, Tamara Leonard of Ohio, Maretta Leonard of Middletown, Samantha Leonard of Middletown, David Leonard of Godeffroy, Daniel Leonard Jr of Port Jervis, D. Ray Leonard of Otisville and Saverio Leonard of Middletown, his sister Tammy Santiago of Port Jervis, his three brothers Lawrence Leonard of Godeffroy, Julius Leonard, Jr. of Parksville, Talmadge Leonard of Huguenot, several grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Margrit Luber age 97 of Glen Spey, NY passed away July 9, 2020 at Milford Senior Care, Milford, Pennsylvania. She was born on November 18, 1922 in Heppenheim, Germany. Margrit worked as a nurse in Germany and then as a receptionist for Dr. Greenberg in New York City, NY. She was an active member of the Black Forest Colony in Glen Spey. Margrit married Herbert Luber who pre-deceased her on April 9, 2013. She is survived by her daughter Nancy Luber of Glen Spey and several nieces and nephews. Margrit was also pre-deceased by her son Steven Luber. Graveside services will be held 1:30 PM, Monday, July 13, at the Black Forest Cemetery, Glen Spey, NY. Rev. Joselin Berkmans will officiate. Doris E. Osiecki age 93 of Port Jervis, NY passed away July 4, 2020 in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. She was born on June 21, 1927 in Port Jervis, NY the daughter of Frank and Ella Guinan Ulrichs. Doris was a very faithful member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, and Most Sacred Heart R.C Church, Port Jervis. She was a religious education teacher at Most Sacred Heart R.C. Church, a eucharistic minister and lector of the church for many years. Doris was a member of the Catholic Daughters, Court Madonna #114, Port Jervis and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Hose Co. # 5, Port Jervis Fire Dept. Doris married Henry T. Osiecki, who pre-deceased her. She is survived by her son Thomas H. Osiecki and his wife Pamela of Sparrowbush, her daughter Cathleen Alekna and her husband Jerome of Sparrowbush, her beloved grandchildren; Stanley T. Osiecki, Jason P. Osiecki and his wife Penny, Jennifer Clune, Karen McCann and her husband Jason, several nieces and nephews. Service and interment will be private at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Jervis. Rev.
