      JOHN O. LITTLE, SR., PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          
John O. Little, Sr. ,age 87 of Port Jervis, NY, passed away October 22, 2019 in Middletown, NY.  He was born on September 30, 1932 in Lafayette, New Jersey the son of  William and Eva Campbell Little.  John retired as a foreman for the Town of Greenville Highway Department after many years of dedicated service.  John married Shirley Cosh Little and recently celebrated 66 years of marriage.  He is survived by his wife Shirley at home, his two sons, Tom Little and his wife Charlene of South Carolina and Herb Little of Tennessee, his daughter Renee Little of Port Jervis, his sister Connie O’Dell and her husband Sam of Vernon, NJ,  his daughter-in-law Kathy Little of Milford, PA, his beloved grandchildren;  Sara and her husband Brandon, John, III and his wife Rose, Justin and his fiancée Kristin, Jordan and his wife Jules, James and his fiancée Jaimie, Jennifer, Matt, Nick, his great grandson, Colin and his sister-in-law Rose Stevens of Greenville, several nieces and nephews.  John was pre-deceased by his son, “The Lion Tamer", John  O. Little, Jr., his brothers Jim and Herb Little and his sisters; Charlotte, Dora, Frances, Alberta and his step-father  Sidney Hodges.  John was an avid bowler.  He bowled with the “Thursday Night” Mens League at Minisink Lanes for many years. John was a former coach  for the Indians with the Port Jervis Little League and a referee for Pop Warner, Junior Varsity and High School Football.  In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting with his sons.  John was an avid golfer, and after his retirement he enjoyed working his “Dream Job” at the Crystal Springs Golf Course in Hamburg, New Jersey.  Visitation will be held 10 AM-12 Noon, Monday, October 28, at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.  Funeral services will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home with Rev. Amy Garrett officiating.  Cremation will take place at HG Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, PA. Sonja L. DeFrees age 89 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Sunday, October 20, 2019 in Nyack, New York.  She was born on February 11, 1930 in New York City, NY the daughter of Ragnvald and Anna Lindell  Jacobsen.   Graveside services took place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, NY.       EDWARD SPANGENBERG, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          
Edward Spangenberg age 90 of Port Jervis, NY passed away October 20, 2019 at his home.  He was born on January 3, 1929 in Port Jervis, NY the son of Paul and Thelma Bell Spangenberg.  Ed proudly served our country with the US Army during the Korean War.  He was a member of the Drew United Methodist Church, Port Jervis, the American Legion Post in Middletown, NY and the Metauque Falls Hunting Club.  Edward married Joyce M. Smith  Spangenberg  on February 5, 1954. She pre-deceased him February 9, 2009.  He is survived by his two daughters Janet Mikulak and her husband Michael of Watertown, NY, Kim Hannigan and her husband Donald of Port Jervis, his two sons, Mark Spangenberg and his wife Rita of Dallas, Pennsylvania and Roy Spangenberg of Port Jervis, his beloved seven grand daughters; Kelly, Nicole, Amanda, Samantha, Kati, Ashley and Maryjane, his seven great grandchildren, his three sisters-in-law, Joyce Spangenberg, Karen Wyatt and Betty Smith, several nieces and nephews.  Ed was pre-deceased by his brother David Spangenberg.  Visitation will be held 10:30 AM-11:30 AM, Wednesday, October 23 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Nicholas C. Roeckell age 79 of Matamoras, Pennsylvania passed away  Thursday, October 17, 2019 at home.  He was born on December 12, 1939 in Bronx, New York, the son of  Charles and Maryrose Greismann Roeckell.  Nicholas retired as union carpenter for the City of New York.  He was a communicant of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Port Jervis.  Nicholas is survived by his two daughters; Maryrose Roeckell of Glen Spey, NY, and Patricia  Snyder of Liberty, NY, his son Nicholas Roeckell and his wife Aracely of Carmel, NY, his sister Frances Thomas, of Bronx, NY, his brother Charles W. Roeckell of New Bern, South Carolina, his beloved grandchildren Nicole and Elizabeth and several nieces and nephews.  He was pre-deceased by his  sisters, Maryann         McQuade  and Betty Rollins.       FRANK W. FULLER, SR., PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          

Frank W. Fuller, Sr. age 91 of Port Jervis, NY passed away October 12, 2019 at his home.  He was born on December 23, 1927 in Port Jervis, the son of Stanley and Edna Gilson Fuller.  Frank proudly served our country with the US Navy during WW II.  He was a member and past captain of the Tri-State Naval Ship #7241 in Port Jervis, a member and past captain of Excelsior Engine Co. Hose 5, Port Jervis Fire Dept., a member of the Marsh-Kellogg American Legion Post  #139, Milford, PA , and a founding member of the Charcoal Hunting Club.  Frank married Jean Scott Fuller who pre-deceased him.  He is survived by his three daughters, Patricia Wood and her husband  Wayne ”Butch” Wood of Glen Spey, NY, Cheryle McBride and her husband Richard of Darby, Montana, Linda Haas and her husband Robert  of Milford, PA, his three sons, Frank Fuller, Jr. and his companion Joyce  of Port Jervis, Joseph Fuller of Ogden, Utah and James Fuller and his wife Londa of Port Jervis, his sister, Mary Longwell and her husband Barry of Port Jervis, his brother  Kenneth Fuller of Port Jervis, his beloved 16 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 13 great great grandchildren, his brother-in-law  Russell Scott, several nieces and nephews.  Frank was pre-deceased by his grandson Robert and his granddaughter Theresa Wood, his brothers, Robert, Stanley and George Fuller, his sister-in-law Patricia Fuller and his daughter-in-law Margaret Fuller.  Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Wednesday, October 16 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.  VFW services will be held  7PM Wednesday and Firematic services will follow at 7:30 pm.  Funeral services will be held 11 AM , Thursday, October 17 at the funeral home with Rev. Kathy Perry officiating.  Cremation will take place at HG Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, PA. Private interment will take place in Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville, NY.       VINCENT JOSEPH, LORDS VALLEY, PENNSYLVANIA
		
          

Vincent Joseph age 74 of Lords Valley, Pennsylvania passed away Sunday, October 13, in Stroudsburg, PA. 
He was born is Bristol England, on March 1, 1945, the son of Elsie Bowen and Alexander Coull. As young child he and his mother emigrated to the United States and grew up in the Bronx.
Vincent proudly served our country during the Vietnam War with the United States Air Force.
Vincent met his wife Kathie Bowden on a picket line during a strike. They were married on Dec 3 1972. Shortly after they moved to Hopatcong NJ and then to Lords Valley, PA.  Kathie survives at home. He is also survived by his  two children, Mike Joseph and his fiancee Lynn of Branchville, NJ,  and Tara Joseph at home,  his beloved three grandchildren; Dylan, Travis and Lillyanna. His children and grandchildren were his proudest accomplishment.  He is also survived by his brother Jerry Joseph and his wife Linda of North Providence, Rhode Island his nephews  Eric and Jerome and his nieces Jenny, Hope and Michele. He was pre-deceased by his two brothers, Steven and Christopher and his sister, Theresa.    
 Vincent enrolled in college  in his fifties and received his associates degree in accounting, while continuing to work full time.  He was a faithful member  and Eucharistic Miniser of St. John Neuman R.C. Church, Lords Valley, PA.  He loved his church and we know that he is at peace in the loving hands of God. “And the greatest commandment is to love one another “
Vincent was a founding member of the Knight of Columbus, Our Lady of the Lake Council and a founding member of St.Jude’s Council #9914, Hopatcong, NJ. He was an active Knight of Columbus with the Bishop McCormick Council in Lords Valley. He held many different positions including Grand Knight and District Deputy.  He was a 4th degree Knight with Council 2605, Milford, PA . 
Vincent enjoyed his retirement. He was a member of Hemlock Farms Mens Club, 50+, Hemlock Farms Bocce, Hemlock Farms Neighbor 2 Neighbor. He also was a member of the Hemlock Farms Auxiliary. He was especially proud of the service he provided for MANNA. In his spare time he enjoyed traveling, gardening and spending time with his friends.  Visitation will be held 3-7 PM , Thursday, October 17 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 AM, Friday, October 18th at St. John Neuman R.C. Church, Route 739, Lords Valley, Pennsylvania.  Rev. Edward Casey will be the celebrant.  Interment will follow with military honors at Glen Spey Cemetery, Glen Spey, NY.  Memorial contributions may be made in Vincent’s name to Food From Families or  to St. Vincent de Paul Outreach Program, and mailed to St. John Neuman RC Church, 705 Route 739, Lords Valley, PA. 18428.       DENNIS R. SWINGLE, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK 
		
          Dennis R. Swingle age 64 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019 in Port Jervis.  He was born on January 19, 1955 in Port Jervis, NY the son of the late Chester and Jean V. Ulbrich Swingle.  Dennis worked as a supervisor for C& D Battery, Inc. in Huguenot, NY.  He is survived by his daughter Colleen Swingle and her fiancé Xavier Alicea of Wilmington, Delaware, his son Troy Swingle and his wife Brett of Quakertown, Pennsylvania, his brothers; Jerry Swingle and his wife Jamie, Michael Swingle, Jason Swingle and his wife Bobbi, Timothy Swingle and his wife Maria, his sisters; Linda Kent and Beth  Swingle Kehlenbeck, Lois Case and her husband Brad, his beloved grandchildren; Akaylah and Everlee and several nieces and nephews.  Dennis was pre-deceased b y his daughter Megan, his grandchildren, Liana, MJ and Willow.  Services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Cremation will take place at HG Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, PA.       ALFRED W. SANDBERG, MILFORD, PENNSYLVANIA
		
          Alfred W. Sandberg age 91 of Milford, PA passed away at home on Monday October 14, 2019. He was born on May 3, 1928 in Ridgefield Park, NJ and is the son of the late John and Gwynne Ada Hallam Sandberg. Alfred proudly served our country with the US Army. He was the owner/operator of the Exxon  in Woodcliff Lake, NJ.  Alfred married Marilyn Brennan Sandberg who predeceased him.  He is survived by two sons: Stevan Sandberg and wife Deborah of Edgewater, NJ and David Sandberg of Milford, PA; one daughter Diana Hartwick and husband Gerard of Chester, NY; 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.       LUIGI "GINO" PRESTIMONACO, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          

Luigi “Gino” Prestimonaco age 70 of Port Jervis NY passed away October 9, 2019 at his home.  He was born on October 3, 1949 in Messina, Italy the son of  the late Giuseppe “Joseph” and Rosina Ricevuto Prestimonaco.  Gino worked for Future Home Technologies in Port Jervis and retired as a foreman for Conrail Railroad in Port Jervis after many years of dedicated service.  He was a member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Port Jervis and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society. Gino was pre-deceased by his first wife Terry Sutera Prestimonaco .  He married Paula Prussia Prestimonaco who survives at home.  Gino is also survived by his two daughters, Gina Fitzpatrick and her husband John of Port Jervis, New York and Matamoras, Pennsylvania, and Tiffany Prestimonaco of Sparrowbush, his son Shane Prestimonaco of Port Jervis, his brother Arego Prestimonaco and his wife Michelle  of Merced, Calif.,  his step-daughter Jennifer and his step- granddaughter Julia, his beloved grandchildren; Tayler, Logan, Ethan, and Braden Fitzpatrick, several nieces and nephews and his special pet dogs “Saphire” and Pepino and his special kitty Luigi.  Gino was pre-deceased by his brother Joseph Prestimonaco and his sister Lorenza “Nancy” Prestimonaco, and his little dog “Susie”.  Gino truly enjoyed his piece of paradise in his backyard with its beautiful gardens and Koi Pond.  He loved spending time with family and friends at his own Tiki Bar he built at his home.  Gino will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.  Visitation will be held 3-7 PM, Monday, October 14, at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.  Prayers will be offered 10:15. AM, Tuesday, October 15 at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial  11 AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Port Jervis, NY.  Rev. Peggy L. Conklin age 52 of Port Jervis, NY passed away  October 3, 2019 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis.  She was born on June 9, 1967 in Port Jervis, NY the daughter of William P. Conklin, Sr. and the late Patricia McBride Conklin.  Peggy worked as a quality control inspector for Kolmar Labs, Inc. in Port Jervis.  She is survived by her two daughters Patrice and Ariana Munoz both of Port Jervis.  Peggy is also survived by her father William P Conklin, Sr. of Port Jervis, her fiancee Kenneth Washington of Port Jervis, her two sisters; Denise Conklin Billman and her husband Peter, and Lynann Conklin DeRosa and her husband William “John”, her brother William P. Conklin, Jr. and his fiancee Jessica Dorcas, her nephew Patrick Conklin and her niece Heather Conklin all of Port Jervis.  Peggy was pre-deceased by her niece Lindsey Billman. John Eric Evans age 53 of Port Jervis, NY passed away tragically Tuesday, September 24, 2019 in Port Jervis, New York.  He was born on July 11, 1966 in Brooklyn, New York the son of John E. Evans, Sr. and the late  Mae Harris Evans.  Eric proudly served our country from 1984 - 1991 with the United States Army.  Eric married  Nyoka “Nike”  Evans who survives in Los Angeles, California.  He is also survived by his  sons; Jahmal Evans of Salinas, California, Jacquon Evans of Los Angeles,  and Julian Evans, his  father  John E. Evans, Sr. of New York City, NY,   his  sisters; Rita N. Evans-Lawrence, and Ava G. Evans his nieces Tiffany G. Campbell and Natasha K. Smith.  Inurnment will take place Friday, October 4, 2019 at Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY with military honors.  Dennis  Sloan will officiate.
