Annette H. Codichini age 93 of Matamoras, Pennsylvania passed away  June 27, 2019 at her home.  She was born on December 30, 1925 in Matamoras, PA, the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Keller Henness.  Annette married Gino Codichini who predeceased her.  She graduated from Matamoras High School with the class of 1943.  Annette continued her education at Edinboro State University graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Education. Along with her late husband Gino, they owned and operated Gino’s Restaurant in Port Jervis for several decades.  She was also a seamstress for the Town & County Bridal Shop in Port Jervis for many years.  Annette was a member of the Deerpark Reformed Church in Port Jervis.  She is survived by her two sons;  Robert Codichini, his wife Karen of New Market, Maryland and Richard Codichini, his wife Mary of Matamoras, PA, her beloved grandchildren; Robert Codichini, Michael Codichini, his wife Jessie, Amanda Meltzer, her husband Steven, her granddaughter-in-law Brittany Codichini,  her beloved five great grandchildren; Ariel, Samuel, Christopher, Jacob and Hailey, her nephew Robert Doerries and wife Lisa of Tucson, Arizona, Michael Innella and wife Charlene of Port Jervis, NY.  Annette was predeceased by her son John J. Codichini, USAF, her grandson John P. Codichini who passed away on March 9, 2019 and her sister Juanita Doerries.  Graveside services will be private at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Westfall Fire Dept., 101 Mountain Ave., PO Box 154, Matamoras, PA 18336.       NICHOLAS R. MCKEON, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          
Nicholas  R. McKeon also known as “Nicky Noodle”, and “Mr. Smithers”  passed away  June 23, 2019 in Port Jervis, NY.  Nicholas was born on  December 18, 1996 in Port Jervis,NY the son of  Kevin J. and Patricia  Mosher McKeon.  Nicky was an avid  fan of the New York Yankees and the Washington Redskins. He was a  member and Past President of the Delaware Engine Co. #2, Port Jervis Fire Dept. and a former member of Howard Wheat Hose Co. #4.  He worked as a lumber associate for Lowes in Westfall  Township, Pennsylvania.  Nicholas is survived by his parents  at home, his brother Matthew McKeon and his wife Sarah of Westfall Township, PA, his sister Manda Jergensen and her husband Michael of Port Jervis,  his three nieces; Ashley, Caitlynn and Aubrey, several aunts, uncles, cousins and his best friend, Tyler Kowinsky.  Nick was pre-deceased by his brother Kevin  McKeon.  Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 PM, Thursday, June 27 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.  Firematic services will be held  7:15 PM.  Funeral services will be held 1 PM, Friday, June 28, at the funeral home.  Rev. Nancy Vonderhorst will officiate. Frances R. Doss age 73 of Port Jervis, NY passed away  June 21, 2019 at home.  She was born on March 9, 1946 in Port Jervis, NY the daughter of  Frank and Alice Leet Aschenbrenner.  Frances retired as an office clerk from Kolmar Labs, Inc. in Port Jervis, after many years of dedicated service.  She was a member of St. James The Greater R.C. Church in Montague, New Jersey, a member of the Sussex County 4-H Club and a member of the Port Jervis-Deerpark Humane Society.  Frances married John H. Doss, Sr. who survives at home.  She is also survived by her  daughter Jeanneene Ludemann and her husband Fred of Dingmans Ferry, PA, her son John H. Doss, Jr. and his wife Amanda of  Catasauqua, PA, her sister Alice Drew of Port Jervis, her beloved grandchildren; Taylor and Hunter Ludemann, Ian Storer, Tiffany and Daenerys Doss, Ryan and Thomas Connors, her nephew Michael Woolsey and his wife Renee, two great nephews, Chris and Alex Woolsey and her great niece Jordyn Woolsey, brother-in-law  Mike and Audrey Doss and family, sisters-in-law  Joan Doss and family,  Maryann Horn and family. Frances was pre-deceased by her brothers-in-law  George M. Horn, Robert Doss and Fred Drew.  Visitation will be held 1-3 PM Tuesday, June 25, at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Lovyon M. Eckart age 86 of Port Jervis, NY passed away  June 16, 2019 in Suffern, NY.  She was born on January 24, 1933  in Port Jervis, NY the daughter of Ralph and Hedwig Muller Manwaring.  Lovyon was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness Church in Monticello, NY.  She married James T. Eckart, Sr. who survives at home.  Lovyon is also survived by her  daughters, Karen Dunning and her husband  William of Sparrowbush, NY, and Linda Vanderveer and her husband George  of Harriman, Tenn., her son James Eckart, Jr.  and his wife Donna of North Carolina, her sister Shirley Ostrom of Port Jervis, and her brother Richard Morgan of Port Jervis, her beloved grandchildren; Miranda Horner(Dennis), Jennifer  Bensley (Nikki), Louis Hull(Justine), Lissa Johnson, Matthew Hull, George Vanderveer, III, James Eckart, III, Ryan  Eckart (Gina) and Laura, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.       PATRICIA P. GRUSZ, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          
Patricia Grusz age 90 of Port Jervis, NY passed away on June 15, 2019 in Middletown, NY. Patricia was born in  Manhattan, NY the daughter of Sophie M. Dowd on January 26, 1929.  She attended high school in Pine Island, NY.  Patricia resided in Port Jervis, NY until 1979 when she moved to Florida after the death of her husband Henry in 1972.  In 2011 she returned to live in Port Jervis.  Patricia married Henry F. Grusz  on November 28, 1946 in St. Cereal RC Church in Brooklyn, NY.  Patricia worked in the housekeeping dept. of Doctor’s Sunnyside Hospital and Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis for many years.  She adored her three children, nine grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren dearly.  She was a member of Sacred Heart RC. Church and St. Mary’s R. C Church in Port Jervis.  Patricia is survived by her son Daniel Grusz and his wife Marilynn of Port Jervis,  her daughter Barbara Prisco and her companion Thomas Bohm of Port Jervis, her son-in-law Bradford J. Van Auken, Jr. of Clifton Park, NY, her sisters; Dolores Arkel of Conway, S.C., Christine Bamber and her husband Ronald of Nantucket Island, MA., Lorraine Kruger and her husband Kenneth of Goshen, NY, Sylvia Glassey and her husband Jack of New Windsor, NY, her brother Albert Dowd of N. Beach, MD,  her beloved grandchildren;  Bradford H. Van Auken and his wife  Irene, Trevor J. Van Auken and his wife Lisa,  Mia  D. Van Auken-Clay and her husband Michael, Daniel Grusz and his wife Mary Jane, Jennifer and Jessica Grusz, Renee, Heather and Matthew Prisco, her great grandchildren; Bradford and Summer Van Auken, Trevor J.       BONNY J. LASS, GODEFFROY, NEW YORK
		
          
Bonny J. Lass age 68 of Godeffroy, NY passed away June 9, 2019, at her home after a long battle with cancer.  Bonny was born on June 2, 1951, in Port Jervis, NY, the daughter of the late William H. and Grace E. (Smith) Lass.  Bonny graduated from Port Jervis High School and continued her education at SUNY Cobleskill earning her associates degree in equine sciences. Bonny developed a passion for horses early in life and was a member of the Orange County 4-H.  She later became a leader in the  Orange County 4-H program and developed the Horse Wrangler’s Club with her mother Grace.  She was the owner and operator of Bonny Lass Stable in Godeffroy, NY.  Bonny was dedicated to the riding instruction of numerous young students throughout her work in 4-H and her stable, and also enjoyed transporting horses to many different places throughout the Northeast.  Bonny was a long time member of the Western Hudson Valley Professional Horseman’s Association and a former Board of Director of the Port Jervis-Deerpark Humane Society.  Bonny is survived by her loving daughter Alexa Lass and her companion Daniel Richner of Easton, PA – Alexa was her pride and joy and meant so much to Bonny. She is also survived by her brother Daniel Lass and his wife Elizabeth of Shutesbury, Massachusetts, her brother William T. Lass and his wife Pamela of Port Jervis, her sister, Deborah Lass of Port Jervis, and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held 2-5 PM, Thursday, June 13, at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.  Interment will be private. Sandra B. Davenport  age 80 of Cuddebackville, NY  passed away Monday, June 10, 2019  at Achieve Rehab and Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY.  She was born on September 19, 1938 in Middletown, NY the daughter of Thornton and Jessie Brown Wilson.  She married  Ernest Davenport, Jr. who pre-deceased her.  Sandra is survived by her four daughters; Gwenn McBride  and her husband Wayne of Cuddebackville,  Robin Mielke and Martin  of Cuddebackville, Cindy Chain and her husband Michael  of Campbell Hall, NY, Jennifer Noriega and her husband Orlando of Westbrookville,  her two sisters; Susan Mustion and her husband Richard, Linda Rykowski and her husband Edward, her four brothers; James Wilson and his wife Jacqueline, Gary Wilson and his wife Chris, Robert and Bruce Wilson, four grandchildren; Crissy Dolan, Michael Mielke, Jesse  and  Jared Chain, her beloved great grandsons James and Justin Phillips, several nieces and nephews. Berniece W. Haas age 90 of Eldred, NY passed away  June 4, 2019 Grover  M. Herman Hospital in Callicoon, NY.  She was born  on December 21, 1928 in Eldred,NY the daughter of Earl and Ada  Myers Wells.  Berniece retired from the Eldred Central School District as a cafeteria manger for many years then as a  library assistant and  school security  monitor. She was an active member of the Sylvan-Liebla American  Legion Post #1363, Ladies Auxiliary, Eldred a member of the Happy Footers Square Dancers and a former Girl Scout Leader.  Berniece was an avid gardener, enjoyed square dancing and was a gifted seamstress. She married Harry G. Haas who pre-deceased her.  Berniece is survived by her  son George  H. Haas and his wife Darlene of Eldred, her daughter Lois Haas of Little York, NY, her brother George Wells of Sparta, Tennessee, her sister Norma Aaron of Durham, North Carolina, her sister-in-law Joan  Wells of Raleigh, North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. Amanda S. Babcock age 43 of Port Jervis, NY passed away  June 3, 2019 at her home.  She was born on April 25, 1976 in Newton, New Jersey the daughter of the late Edward and  Betty Ann Davenport Babcock.  Amanda  was a talented craft maker and enjoyed making crafts for her family.  She is survived by her sisters; Rita Cosh and her companion  Charles Decker at home, Veronica Smith and her husband Paul of Port Jervis, Cassandra Jenks of Port Jervis, her brother Edward Babcock, Jr. and his wife Susan of Port Jervis, several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was pre-deceased by her great nephew Shane Decker.  Visitation will be held 11Am-1 PM Thursday, June 6, 2019 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home,  154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Lyn Marie Mason  age 37 of Port Jervis, NY passed away  May 31, 2019 at her home.  She was born on  July 26, 1981 in New York City, NY the daughter of  Robert and Lynnette  Rhoades Mason.  Lyn was raised in Port Jervis and graduated from Port Jervis High School.  She proudly served our country with the US Navy.  Lyn was a member of the Neversink Engine Co. #1, Port Jervis Fire Dept. and a a member of the Port Jervis Fire Police.  She is survived by her parents Robert and Lynnette Mason of Port Jervis,  her beloved daughter Cora Knight Mason at home, who she loved so much and thought the world of.  She is also survived by Eric Gunderman,  Cora’s father.  Lyn was born the youngest of triplets and is survived by her sisters, Helen and Senie Mason,  her brother Russell Mason,  her nephew  Logan, her nieces; Skyelynne and Meadow.  She was pre-deceased by her  brother Ryan and her sister  Rhonda.  Services will be private  and interment will take place at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Port Jervis. David K. Lynn, Jr., age 63 of Johnson, New York passed away May 30, 2019 at his home.  He was born on June 2, 1955 in Neptune, New Jersey the son of the late David K. Lynn, Sr. and  Joan Fahner Lynn.  David was an auto mechanic and was the proprietor of  Dave’s Automotive in Johnson.  He married Fay Brundage Lynn who pre-deceased him.  He is survived by his two sons David K. Lynn, III of New Hampton, NY and Bradford Lynn and his wife Danielle of Johnson, his two sisters, Cheryl Balch and her husband  George of Sparrowbush, and Valerie Lynn of Rock Hill, NY, his beloved grandchildren; Shania, David IV, Brandy and Trevor.  He is also survived by his  long time companion  LeeAnn Posey of Johnson, several nieces and nephews and a host of many friends.
