      DAVID GEORGE LATINI, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          

David George Latini age 58 of Port Jervis, NY passed away  August 23, 2018 at his home.  He was born on September 21, 1959 in Port Jervis, NY the son of the late George and  Margaret  Smith  Latini.  David  graduated from Port Jervis High School where he participated with the School Wrestling Team.  He was an avid sports fan enjoying wrestling and football.  He worked as an assembler for Kolmar Labs, Inc in Port Jervis,  C & D Battery in Huguenot and and Luhrs Hardware in Milford, PA.   He is survived by his two sisters Gloria Laizure of Port Jervis, and Georgina Kuykendall and her husband Ted of Matamoras, PA, his three nieces; Jean Barton and her husband  William, Nancy Wimer and her husband David, Esq., Kelly Callahan and her husband Daniel,  his nephew T. Christopher  Kuykendall  and several cousins.  He was pre-deceased by his brother-in-law Denis Laizure and his two nieces Kathy Laizure and Jill Hargadon.  Visitation will be held  11 AM-12 Noon Thursday, August 30th at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.  Prayers will be offered at 12 Noon Thursday at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Jervis.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Little People of America, Inc., 627 Broadway, #518, Sonoma, CA. 95476 or to the Port Jervis-Deerpark Humane Society, Route 209, Port Jervis, NY 12771.       HAROLD F. BENSLEY, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          

Harold F. Bensley age 71 of Port Jervis, NY passed away at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY on August 22, 2018. He was born on July 9, 1947 in Newton, NJ  the son of the late Francis and Dorothy Malone Bensley. Harold worked at Johnsonburg Gun Club in Johnsonburg, NJ and was a member of the Matamoras Fire Department #32. Harold also worked as a security guard at Orange County Speed Way, and was an avid bingo player. He fought a long and courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Babcock of Port Jervis, NY his son Wilbert Bensley of Tennessee,  his long time companion Donna Babcock, two sisters; Linda Parry and  her husband Zelmer of Holiday, TN,  Lori Snover and her husband Arnie of Port Jervis, NY; two brothers; Randy Bensley of Sussex, NJ and Rick Bensley and his wife Diane of Jacksonville, FL; one grand-daughter Jazmine Babcock of Port Jervis, NY and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by: Buddy Bensley, Donald Bensley, Francis Bensley, JR., Brenda Wildrick, and Diane Bensley. Funeral services were held at 11:00am Monday, August 27, 2018 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, with Rev. Patt Kauffman officiating.       PAUL A. SZUCS, MONTAGUE, NEW JERSEY
		
          
Paul A. Szucs age 95 of Montague, New Jersey passed away Sunday, August 12, 2018 at his home.  He was born in St. Benedick, Pennsylvania on July 12, 1923 the son of Michael and Margaret  Jordan Szucs.  Paul proudly served our country during WW II with the US Army.  He retired as lineman from Union Local 1249 Utilities, in Syracuse, NY after many years of dedicated service.  He was an avid fisherman and hunter always enjoying the great outdoors.  Paul married  Ruth Reed Szucs who pre-deceased him.  He then married Ruth Freiermuth Szucs who survives at home.  He is also survived by his daughter Paula Szucs of Port Jervis,  his step son-in-law Allen Estok of Sagamore Estates, Pennsylvania, and several nieces and nephews.  He was pre-deceased by his  step-daughter Sherry Estok, his sisters, Margaret, Anna, Elizabeth and Helen, his brothers Michael, John and Frank Szucs.  Prayers were offered Tuesday, August 14 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY with Rev. Wayne Varga officiating.  Interment took place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Port Jervis.  Paul’s family would like to extend a special thank you to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, nurses Amy and Linda, his nurses aid Robin and his caregiver Malgorzata Cibrowska.       JAMES "DAVID" CRAWFORD, MATAMORAS, PENNSYLVANIA
		
          

James “David” Crawford  age 70 of Matamoras, PA passed away at home on August 8, 2018 in Matamoras, PA. He was born on May 26, 1948 in Port Jervis, NY and is the son of the late James C. and Arlene Baird Crawford. James was a corrections officer at Mid-Hudson Forensic Psychiatric Center in New Hampton, NY. James was a life member of the Matamoras, PA Fire Department, Stone Dock Hunting Club, and the Port Jervis Lodge of Elks B.P.O.E #645. He  is survived by: one daughter: Sara Mead and husband T.J. of Matamoras, PA; two sons: Eric Crawford and wife Heather of Moscow, ID, and Ethan Crawford and wife Lauren of Moscow, ID; one brother: Andrew Crawford; two sisters: Meg Casimiro and Christine Crawford; six grandchildren: Cora, Griffin, Lucy, Celia,Hayden, and his dog Zepplin. James was predeceased by his brother Jeffery Crawford.  Visitation took place on Monday August 13, 2018 from 10:00-12:00 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis, NY 12771. Funeral services followed at 12:00pm at the funeral home with Rev. Patt Kauffman officiating. Burial took place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Port Jervis. William W. Flood, Sr. age 85 passed away at St, Joseph’s Place in Port Jervis, NY on July 31, 2018. He was born on January 9, 1933 in Glenwood, NJ and is the son of the late James and Sadie Smith Flood. William was a self employed mason in Port Jervis. He is survived by: his wife Betty J. Potter Flood who resides at home; one daughter: Candace Flood of Port Jervis, NY; four sons: William W. Flood, Jr. and wife Linda of Huguenot, NY, Brian Flood and wife Nicole of Glen Spey, NY, Keith Flood and wife Mandy of Port Jervis, NY, Brad Flood and wife Michelle of Glen Spey, NY; several grand and great-grandchildren.       STEPHEN J. KENT, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Stephen J. Kent age 67 of Port Jervis, NY passed away July 30, 2018 at the Westchester Medical Ctr., Valhalla, NY.  He was born  on January 13, 1951 in Port Jervis the son of James and Eleanor Hammond Kent.  Stephen retired from C & D Battery in Huguenot, NY after many years of dedicated service.  He married Linda Swingle Kent who survives at home.  He is also survived by his daughter Miranda Mead and her husband Michael of Dingmans Ferry, PA, Amy Budd, who Stephen considered his daughter, his beloved grandchildren Meadow and Declan Mead, his brother George Kent and his wife Gina of Cuddebackville, his sister Cheryl Biccum and her husband Joey of Port Jervis, his nephew, John Kent,  his nieces  Angela Kent and Carrington Biccum, several sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
