JEFFREY KENYON, NARROWSBURG, NEW YORK
Jeffrey Kenyon age 72 of Narrowsburg, New York passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis. He was born on March 23, 1946 in Hackensack, New Jersey the son Samuel and Dorothy Hulbert Kenyon. Jeffrey retired from the East Orange, New Jersey School District as a HVAC mechanic. He was a member of the Rutherford Lodge of Elks #546, B.P.O.E. in Rutherford, New Jersey. Jeffrey married Miriam Bitterly Kenyon who survives at home. He is also survived by his son Todd Kenyon at home, and his sister Barbara Bucaro of Cincinnatis, NY. He was pre-deceased by his two brothers Keith and Samuel Kenyon. WILLIAM E. HADLICK, SPRING HILL, FLORIDA, FORMERLY OF PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK

William E. Hadlick age 68 of Spring Hill, FL and formerly a long time resident of Port Jervis, NY passed away July 20, 2018 in Spring Hill, Florida.
He was born on March 11, 1950 in Port Jervis, NY the son of Michael and Dorothy Burdick Hadlick. William proudly served our country during the Vietnam War with the US Navy. He worked as an insurance agent for Frontier Insurance in Monticello, NY. He was a member of the Hillside Community Baptist Church in Brooksville, Florida. William married Joyce Terracino Hadlick, celebrating 49 years of marriage. He is survived by his wife Joyce at home, his daughter, Tanya Giasanti and her husband, Roger of Temecula, California, his son, Chad Hadlick and his wife, Michelle of Temecula, California, five grandchildren, his two sisters, Mary Lou Gallo and Emily Card both of Port Jervis, several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brother Michael Hadlick.
Memorial services were held at the Hillside Community Baptist church in Brooksville, Florida.

BRYAN J. ROSSNAGLE, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK

Bryan J. Rossnagle, age 52 of Port Jervis, NY passed away on Tuesday July 24, 2018 at Bon Secours Community Hospital. He was born on May 6, 1966 in Ridgewood, NJ and is the son of Henry Rossnagle and the late Rosalie Dumas. Bryan was a self employed mechanic.
He is survived by his wife at home, Ethel M. Rossnagle; two daughters: Nichole Rossnagle and fiancé, Travis Smith and Amanda Rossnagle and fiancé, Eugene Moore, all of Port Jervis, NY; one son: Bryan J. Rossnagle and fiancé, Jillian also of Port Jervis; two brothers: Ronald and Charles Rossnagle; one sister: Diana Rossnagle; seven grandchildren: Logan and Zackary Rossnagle, Curtis King, Jr., Zarianna King, Summer Smith, Landon Gregory, and Eugene Moore; several nieces and nephews. Bryan was predeceased by his sister, Lena Rossnagle.
Visitation will be held from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, July 27 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY 12771. Funeral services will follow at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Cremation will take place privately at the conveince of the family.

MARTYN FREED, MATAMORAS, PENNSYLVANIA
Martyn Freed age 87 of Matamoras, Pennsylvania passed away July 24, 2018 at the Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. He was born on December 28, 1930 in Hackney, England the son of Harry D. Freed and Caroline Cooper Freed. Martyn worked as an executive for Sara Lee Corp., Englewood Division, New Jersey. He was a member of the AARP, past president of his local chapter and an excellent organizer for various community organizations. He is survived by two sons, two grandsons, one great granddaughter and a host of close friends including his special friends Ciesta Jane Frey, Jack R. Frey, Matthew, Megan, Morgan Frey all of Milford, PA and Loretta Odgers of Matamoras, PA. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. LINDA J. SOUTHARD, SPARROWBUSH, NEW YORK

Linda J. Southard age 69 of Sparrowbush, NY passed away July 23, 2018 in Highland, NY after a courageous battle with many illnesses. She was born on November 23, 1948 in Paterson, New Jersey the daughter of Thomas and Dorothy Gray Paterson. Linda was a homemaker, devoted wife and mother. In her 40’s she decided to attend college and graduated with an associate’s degree from Orange County Community College. She later worked at the Westfall Wal Mart as a department manager for many years. She married Merle E. Southard on January 20, 1968, who survives at home. Linda is also survived by her two sons Howard Southard and his wife Cathy of Port Jervis, William Southard and his wife Joyce of Matamoras, Pennsylvania, her sisters; Susan Durina of South Carolina, Annette Southard of Port Jervis, Dorothy Dryden of Matamoras, her three brothers; James Paterson of Monticello, NY, Thomas Paterson of Sussex, New Jersey, Todd Paterson of the State of Florida, her beloved eight grandchildren; Jennifer, Christopher, Bailey, Noelle, Zara, Liam, Amber and Cora, several nieces and nephews. LONNIE JAMES HAWKE, MILFORD, PENNSYLVANIA

Lonnie James Hawke age 52 of Milford, Pennsylvania passed away July 19, 2018 at Fredon Township, New Jersey. He was born on April 5, 1966 in Madrid, Spain the son of James and Judith Hawke. He graduated from Newton High School with the class of 1984. He continued his education to earn a certificate from Lincoln Technical Institute in HVAC. He worked as a HVAC installer for Willco Heating and Air Conditioning for 24 years. He was involved in coaching baseball for Dingman Delaware Little League. Lonnie is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth Hawke at home, his two sons, Lawson and Jesse at home. He is also survived by his mother Judith Hawke and his sister Stacey Lee, her husband Craig Lee and nephews Alex and Nathan. He was pre-deceased by his father James P. Hawke and his grandfather Henry I. Wilson. Memorial services will be held 2 PM Sunday, July 22, 2018 at the Milford Bible Church, Milford, PA. Ralph Pinto will officiate. JAMES E. CULLINAN, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK

James E. Cullinan age 71 passed away on July 17, 2018 at Bon Secours Community Hospital after a seven year struggle with cancer. His loving family was at his side.
He was born in Port Jervis, NY on May 11, 1947 the son of Edward A. Cullinan and Alice Cooke Cullinan.
Jim was an avid runner for 40 years until his illness made him put away his running shoes.
He graduated from SUNY Oneonta in 1972. Post-graduate courses were from SUNY New Paltz.
He was a member of the Drew United Methodist Church where he was Financial Secretary for 33 years. He was also a member of the NYS Teachers Association.
Jim loved his family whom he referred to as his universe. He loved music. One of his favorite songs was "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. He loved teaching and his former students whom he always called "my Kids." He taught at Anna S. Kuhl Elementary School for 38 years. Known by students as "Mr. C."
His home away from home was Provincetown, MA where he and his family vacationed every summer.
Surviving are his beloved family, wife: Carol (Hulse) Cullinan, daughter: Lisa Cullinan-Peters and her husband(Kenneth Peters), and grandson: Dylan Ward. Sister: Marlea Carroll and her husband (Tom Carroll) Sister-in-law: Barbara Doss Brother-in-law: Gary Hulse (Mallorie) Niece: Lori Carroll Azriliant Nephews: James Carroll, Steven Doss, Brian Doss, and Jared Hulse Long time close friends: John and Sue Mraz
Cremation will take place privately.
Jim had requested no funeral or memorial service. It is his family's wish that all who knew Jim remember him as the kind and compassionat person he always was in life.

Grace E. Padgett age 83 of Port Jervis, NY passed away on Thursday July 12, 2018 in Port Jervis, NY. She is the daughter of the late Cecil and Mildred Teeple Rumsey. Grace was a member of the Deerpark Reformed Church in Port Jervis, V.F.W. Post #161 Roosa Fleming Post Auxiliary, and a member of the Shipmates of Port Jervis. She worked as an Assembler for Kolmar Labs in Port Jervis for over 30 years. Grace was predeceased by her late husband George Padgett. She is survived by; two daughters: Valerie Howell and fiancé Bob of Forestburgh, NY, Carol Babcock and her husband Harry of Orlando, FL; one son: Randy Aber and his wife Tammy of Port Jervis, NY; one sister: Doris Morris of Middletown, NY; six grandchildren: Danny, Dacie, Amy, Harry, Roseann, and Marie; several great grandchildren, several nieces, and nephews. BETTY MARCH DUFFY SKINNER, MILFORD, PENNSYLVANIA

Betty March Duffy Skinner, age 95 of Milford, PA and formerly lifelong resident of Port Jervis, passed away July 9, 2018 in Milford, PA. She was born in Port Jervis, NY on November 26, 1922 the daughter of Charles R. March, Jr. and Myrtie Dillistin March. Betty was a faithful member of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church in Matamoras, PA. After graduating with the class of 1941 from Port Jervis High School, Betty worked as a nurse’s aide at St. Francis Hospital under the direction of Sister Mary Jean, who was a dear friend. She was a member of the Port Jervis Historical Society. She was also a member of the International Poetry Society of which she had her poem “October” published in a Book of Poetry that can be found at the Milford Library in memory of her late husband James Duffy. Betty was also an avid photographer. She was raised with strong family values and deep faith in God. Betty married James R. Duffy, Sr. who passed away in 1981, and then married William J. Skinner who also pre-deceased her. She is survived by her daughter Ann M. Duffy and her significant other Chris of Milford, PA, her son Francis D. Duffy and his wife Kay of Krum, Texas, her brother, Kenneth D. March of Port Jervis, her sister, Cynthia Salmon of Bloomington, Indiana, her beloved grandchildren Julie and her husband Peter, Bonnie, Frank, Jr. and his wife Nicole, Patti, Shane and his wife Christina, Jennifer and her husband John, Rebecca and her husband Brendan, J.R., Carol and her husband Noel. Great grandchildren; Zachary, Kyle, Troy, Jenna, Ava, Henry, Wesley, Ruby, Samuel, Tobias, Lucas. Her step daughter Joann and her husband Jim, her step grandson William Rogers and Sabrina and their two daughters. Two very special nieces, Deborah Roa and Eleanor Cole along with several other nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her son James R. Duffy, Jr, and her sister Mildred March Cuddeback. Ann M. Poynton age 77 of Milford, PA and formerly a long time resident of Warwick, NY passed away July 7, 2018 at Newburgh, NY. She was born on October 23, 1940 in Winnebago, Minnesota the daughter of Walter and Lila Jensen Bublitz. Ann married Richard C. Poynton who pre-deceased her. She was a longtime faithful member of the Sugar Loaf United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Church of Matamoras, PA. Ann retired after many years of dedicated service as a cashier for Shop Rite Food Store in Chester, NY. She is survived by her three sons Charles “Chuck” Poynton and his wife Jodie of New Hampton, NY, Todd Poynton and his wife Valarie of Johnson, NY, and Timothy “Tim” Poynton and his wife Chrissy of Clinton, Massachusetts, her brother Dallas Bublitz of Bothell, Washington, seven grandchildren; Jennifer, Taylor, Thomas, Alyvia, Kayleigh, Conner Poynton and Andrew Henneman, several nieces and nephews. WILLIAM W. HUBBARD, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK

William W. Hubbard age 71 of Port Jervis, NY passed away suddenly July 5, 2018 at Port Jervis, NY. He was born on March 26, 1947 in Queens, NY the son of William Saxton Hubbard and Ruth Regina Woodward Hubbard. He attended St. Paul School in Garden City and continued his education at Springfield College earning his BS in Mathematics. He began his teaching career with the Port Jervis School District as a mathematics teacher and became head of the math department and was President of the Port Jervis Teacher’s Union. He furthered his education at Montclair State University earning his Masters. Upon his retirement he dedicated his life to tutoring his many students, who he so loved.
Bill was an amazing husband, father and friend. He loved life and helping others. Bill had so many talents and there wasn't anything he couldn't fix, but was ever so humble.
Bill loved skiing which lives on in his son, Adam and grandson, Colten. He was an avid skier, pilot and sailor He was an assistant Ski Coach to the Special Olympics. He started the Port Jervis High School Ski Club. He was a director at the YMCA Camp in Huguenot for many years, Bill was the founder and leader of the 4H Swine Club in Sussex, NJ. Farming was a passion in his life.
Bill recently served on the Planning Board of Port Jervis and was on the Board of Guymard Lake Association.
Bill had a smile and kindness that made you feel like you swallowed the sun. He will be remembered forever by his many family and friends. He was a loving husband to his wife Roseann. She will miss him every minute of every day. He was our rock, he gave endlessly and asked nothing in return.
He is survived by his loving wife, Roseann Hubbard, sons Adam Hubbard and his wife Heather , Patrick Ryan and Thomas Rochelle, his grandson Colten, his sister Janet Fisher and Jerry Collier, brother-in-law John Marko and Andrea Barth and many beloved nieces and nephews. He is also survived by “His Girl”, his beloved Bernese Mountain Dog “Jazz”. Visitation will be held 3-7 PM Monday, July 9 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Alvin T. Ulbrich, Jr. age 69 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 16, 1949 in Port Jervis, NY the son of Alvin T. Ulbrich, Sr. and Olga Michulski Ulbrich. Alvin proudly served our country with the US Army from 1969-1971. He was a faithful member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church, Port Jervis and a former member of the Neversink Engine Co. , Port Jervis, Fire Dept. Alvin worked as sales clerk for Neversink Lumber Co, Port Jervis, AJM Lumber Co., in Montgomery, NY, Narrowsburg Lumber and Stevenson Lumber Co. in Newburgh, NY. He retired from Home Depot in Middletown, NY. Alvin married Patricia Lowry Ulbrich who survives at home. He is also survived by his two daughters Laura Siegfried and her husband Benjamin of Easton, PA, Lisa Stierle and her husband Jon of Milford, PA, his son Michael Ulbrich and his wife Danielle of Milford, PA, his beloved six grandchildren; Zach, Alexis, Samantha, Jason,Teddy, Dominick and several cousins. William F. Harris age 80 of Milford PA died Sunday July 1, at Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis, NY. He was born in Albany NY on May 5, 1938 to the late Lavina and Milton Harris, the family moved to West New York, NJ, where he was raised and lived for the next 30 years. Bill met the love of his life Carol Leiser in 1962, and they were married in 1963. They were married for 49 years until she was called home on July 9, 2013. Bill was an Army veteran, who proudly served his country during the Korean War. He was a retired truck driver. Bill often spoke of his days in the Army, and was always seen wearing one of his many Army caps. Mr. Harris was also a scoutmaster for many years of Boy Scout troop 1, and 129 in West New York, NJ. Always with a song in his heart, and a coffee in his hand, Bill enjoyed speaking with anyone, and telling stories of military time, and scouting adventures. He loved classic foods, especially pot roast, home made soup, and crumb cake. He was a member of The National American Legion. He is survived by his sister Lavina Massey, his son, William A. Harris, and his wife Victoria, of Port Jervis, His daughter, Lisa Moriarty, and her husband Arthur, of Milford Pa, his daughter Marcy Haase and her husband Robert, of Vernon NJ. He also is survived by several nieces and nephews. Bill had 3 grandchildren, Bo Haase and his wife Rhianna, Casie Haase and her husband Justin, and Brandon “Bam” Haase, a great-grandson James Haase,and a great-grandaughter Adriana Haase. Patricia Ann Phillips age 71 of Cuddebackville, NY passed away June 29, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 14, 1946 in Port Jervis, NY the daughter of Nathaniel and Eileen Mae Jenks DeGraw. Pat worked for many years at C & D Battery in Huguenot and as an assembler for Kolmar Labs, Inc. in Port Jervis until her retirement. She was a faithful member of the Cuddebackville Reformed Church and a choir member. Patricia married Albert W. Phillips, Sr. who pre-deceased her on August 6, 2017. She is survived by her sons Albert Phillips, Jr. and his companion Cindy Taylor of Charlotte, N.C., Forest Phillips and his wife Lisa of Port Jervis, James Phillips and his wife Crissy of Cuddebackville, her daughter Patricia LeFevre and her husband Jason of Marlboro, NY, her brothers David DeGraw and Charles Bodine, her sister Nancy Betterley, her beloved grandchildren; Brandon, Ryan, James and Justin Phillips, Stephan and Jason LeFevre, several nieces and nephews.
