ROBYN P. ONOFRY, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK

On November 6, 2017, Robyn P. Onofry passed at the age of 51. The youngest of nine children born unto to her father, the late Richard L. Onofry, and mother, Dorothy M. (Heussy) Onofry, who survives her at home; Robyn did well to leave her mark on the lives of others.
A vocal individual with the best of intentions, she volunteered her time to various causes and fundraising events. Causes that helped young ones and close friends/family always struck a cord with Robyn. Lending herself to a cause also gave her purpose. It allowed her to impact the lives of others when financial support was not an option.
When life permitted, she traveled to visit Disney World in Florida. A fan of Mickey Mouse, Robyn couldn't get enough of "The Happiest Place on Earth." Threatening not to come back on several occasions, she made the most of her periodic trips down south. Then she'd return to tell of her adventures, and plans for her next trip.
Still, one of her most known roles was that of friend, companion and caretaker to her mother. Often seen around town with "Dot," Robyn always tried to ensure her mother didn't want for anything.
Aside from Disney and mom, Robyn loved to talk about her family. Surviving early aunt-hood in her teens to what eventually became twenty nieces and nephews, she leaves them behind, along with dozens of great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her three sisters: Margaret ("Peg") Boyd and husband, Robert, of Minneapolis, MN; Suzanne Aber of Wethersfield, CT; and Kim Polanis, of Milford, PA. And her five brothers: Richard M. Onofry, and his wife, Lynda, of Port Jervis; Hon. Robert A. Onofry and his wife, Linda, of Port Jervis; William C.
