CHARLOTTE A. MILLER, MATAMORAS, PENNSYLVANIA

Charlotte A. Miller age 85 of Matamoras, PA passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 at St. Joseph's Place, Port Jervis.
She was born on October 13, 1931 in Mt. Kisco, NY, the daughter of Charles and Rosalie Tanner Bruna. Charlotte retired as a real estate broker from V.I.P. Property Management Company in Westchester County, NY.
She married William H. Miller who predeceased her. She is survived by her cousins: Joan Wagner and her husband, Warren of Port Jervis, Alice Pagano and her husband, Joseph of Port Jervis, Ann Mosher and her husband, Edson of Matamoras, PA. She was predeceased by her cousin, John Tanner. She was also predeceased by her pet sheltie, "Teddy".
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1st at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. Rev. Ann Rost will officiate. Interment will follow at Putnam Cemetery in Greenwich, CT.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Port Jervis-Deerpark Humane Society, Route 209, Port Jervis, NY 12771.

THERESA I. PAWELSKI, MILFORD, PENNSYLVANIA, FORMERLY OF MATAMORAS, PENNSYLVANIA
Theresa I. Pawelski age 88 of Milford, PA and formerly of Matamoras, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Milford Senior Care, Milford, PA. She was born on August 14, 1928 in Calabria, Italy the daughter of George and Caterina DeNardo DeGiorgio. She immigrated from Italy when she was 4 years old, and spent most of her life in the Bronx in New York. Theresa worked many years as a supervisor at Loehmann's in the Bronx, until she moved to Dumont New Jersey, where she retired from sales with the Jersey Church Supply Company. She was a faithful member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Matamoras, Pa. She was married to Martin A. Pawelski who pre-deceased her on October 18, 1989. Theresa is survived by her son Martin Pawelski and his wife Deborah of Milford, PA, her three grandchildren Martin and his wife Katherine, Matthew and Joseph Pawelski, several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her two sisters Lucy and Josephine and her brother James DeGiorgio. Prayers will be offered Monday, October 31, at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 AM in the Chapel at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY. Rev. John Fraser will officiate. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. DOLORES ALBERTINA KOLVENBACH, MATAMORAS, PENNSYLVANIA

Dolores Albertina Kolvenbach age 75 of Matamoras, PA passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 6, 1941 in Matamoras, PA and was the daughter of Elmer and Mildred Furman Masurack. Dolores was a graduate of the Delaware Valley Joint High School and the Central Academy of Newburgh. She retired as a clerical worker for the Delaware Valley High School. Dolores was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church of Matamoras, past treasurer and longtime Sunday School teacher. She was a charter member and past president of the Keystone Community Club; past president of the Pike County Federation of Women's Club, she served many years as income development chairman for the Pike County Cancer Society, was a past committee women for the Westfall Township Republican party and Judge of Elections. She was a member of the Pike County Republican Women's Club and a former leader of the 4-H Club and Cub Scouts. She was also a member of the Matamoras/Westfall Historical Society and a member of Friends of The Milford Library. Dolores was married to John M. Kolvenbach Jr for 56 years and together they enjoyed traveling and spending time with their family and especially going to all their grandchildren's athletic games, recitals and school events. They were considered the most dedicated grandparents never missing anything involving the grandkids as they were the sunshine of their world. Dolores is survived by John at home and by her two sons Mitchell Kolvenbach and his wife Kelly of Glen Spey, Gregory Kolvenbach and his wife Cheryl of Glen Spey, her two daughters Darcy Brodmerkel and her companion Laura Angeline of Shavertown, PA, Jonell Kilmer and her husband Robert of Millrift, PA, her sister Joyce Zitone and her husband Edward of Montague, NJ, her beloved grandchildren Hunter, Abigail, Garrett, Braelyn and Hailee Kolvenbach, William Colley and his wife Sarah, Sean Colley and his wife Kristin,several nieces nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by her parents Elmer and Mildred Masurack, brother Elmer Masurack, Father and Mother in Law, John and Dorothy Kolvenbach, Sister-in Law, JoAnn Kolvenbach and Brother- in- Law, Robert Doss and niece Elizabeth Bisland. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Dr. Robert Dinsmore and his staff, as well as the the nurses at ORMC second floor oncology unit and the staff at Celtic Hospice who always gave her kindness and compassionate care. Special thanks to all her friends t that continued to send cards, food and prayers and especially to her nieces and nephews that throughout her illness, were there continuously to help, bring her joy and put a smile on her beautiful face. DOLORES B. SIBI, MATAMORAS, PENNSYLVANIA

Dolores B. Sibi, age 85 of Matamoras, PA, passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at her home. She was born on August 6, 1931 in Montclair, NJ, the daughter of Louis and Sophie Alechnowicz Malacrida. Dolores married Walter J. Sibi who predeceased her.
She is survived by her three daughters: Andrea Cobb and her husband, Mark of Rocky Mount, VA, Suzanne La Berta and her husband, Jack of Matamoras, Louise Andrews of Matamoras; her beloved grandchildren, Jared La Berta, Erin La Berta Frinsancho and her husband Juan, her two great grandchildren, Sophia and Sari Frinsancho; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Rudy and Richard Malacrida.
Dolores was a member of the Port Jervis Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 22 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 100 Shin Hollow Road, Port Jervis, NY.

Jesus Manuel Cotto age 51 of Port Jervis, NY passed away on Monday, October 17, 2016 at Orange Regional Center in Middletown, NY. He was born on March 1, 1965 in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico and is the son of Daniel Cotto Alvarez and Luz Maria Artache Villanueva. Jesus worked as a Chauffeur in Middletown, NY. Marie Albino, 86, of Mount Hope, New York, passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 with loved ones at her side. She was born on June 29, 1930 in White Plains, NY to Paul and Loretta Dorrian Smythe. Marie spent her early years working as a registered nurse in Westchester County hospitals. She attended New York University where she earned her M.S.W. and at fifty began her second career as a social worker. Marie was proud of her ability to flip houses and loved garage sales and antiques. Marie is survived by her two sons Bradly Stuart of Norway, Maine, Brian Stuart and his wife Caryn of Mount Hope, two daughters Valerie Stuart and her husband John Mabie of Brattleboro, Vermont, Claudia Stuart and her husband Thomas Murphy of Chico, California, her grandchildren: Ian, Lauren, Brett, Ryan, Fiona, Liam, Devon, Paige, and her twin sister Helen Newell and her husband Milt Newell of Colorado Springs. Joseph William Martin age 87 of Crossville, Tennessee and formerly a life time resident of Port Jervis, NY passed away October 8, 2016 at Crossville Tennessee. He was born on April 6, 1929 in Port Jervis, NY the son of Joseph H. and Elva Allen Martin. Joe proudly served our country between WW II and the Korean War with the US Army. Joe retired from the Water Dept. for the City of New York. He married Emily Westfall Martin who pre-deceased him. He is survived by his sons Steven Martin and his wife Lisa of Rochester, NY, Rev. Raymond C. Marsh age 76 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 at the Wilson Medical Ctr. in Johnson City, NY. He was born on November 10, 1939 in Bellville, New Jersey the son of Earl and Mary Jane McBride Marsh. Raymond retired as a machinist for A & W Products in Port Jervis after nearly 40 years of dedicated employment. He was a member of the Teamsters Local #445 in Newburgh, NY. He married Minnie Decker Marsh who pre-deceased him. He is survived by his son Raymond C. Marsh, Jr. and his wife Kim of Port Jervis, his daughter Laura Tibby of Saugerties, NY ,his grandchildren; Jessica and William Crown, Amanda and Robert Ostrom, Johnathan and Kailyn Tibby, several great grandchildren, his brother William Marsh and his wife Nancy of Stroudsburg, PA, several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his son-in-law David Tibby. Raymond was an avid NY Giants and NY Yankees fan. Was particurlary fond of cats. He enjoyed NASCAR racing and attended many races at the Pocono Raceway with his son. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was known for always putting others before himself. Brenton Broadhead, age 70 of Port Jervis, NY, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016 at his home. He was born on March 5, 1946 in New York, NY, the son of Charles and Elizabeth Evans Broadhead.
Brenton retired as a welder from C & D Battery in Huguenot, NY. He was an active member of Gods and Earths Five Percent Nation.
Brenton married Bonita Butler Broadhead who survives at home. He is also survived by his two daughters, Raleem Broadhead-Moses of Monroe, NY, and Lashana Morris and her husband, Edward of Edgewood, NY; his son, Kasseem Clyburn and his wife, Alicia of Tobyhanna, PA; his brothers, Jusheem Broadhed of Brooklyn, NY, Allen Broadhead of Far Rockaway, NY, and Oscar Broadhead of Bronx, NY; his sisters, Elizabeth Harris and her husband, Everton, and Diane Broadhead, all of the Bronx; sister-in-law, Lillian Rembert-Brown of Brooklyn NY; Olivia Abdul-Rahman of the Delane, FL, Renee Butler of Middletown, NY, Deborah Butler of Stroudsburg, PA, Linda Mason of Los Angeles, CA, Denise Allen and husband, Richard of Buffalo, NY, Alan Butler (Annette) of Narrowsburg, NY and Wilfred Butler (Annette) of Brooklyn NY; seven grandchildren, Kasseem Sills, Douglas and Kenisha Benson, Justin and Jordan Moses, Chauncey Williams, Savannah Kent; three great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

He was born on January 8, 1941 in Arbroth, Scotland the son of George and Janet Wilkie Mackintosh. George proudly served our country with the US Army during the Vietnam War. He retired as a union carpenter in Stamford, Connecticut. George is survived by his two daughters Heather Jaeger and her husband Chip of Milford, PA, and Eileen Maranto and her husband Robert of Castle Rock, Colorado; ten grandchildren Curtis, Faith, Grace ,Hope, Cyrus, Cyril, Joy, True, Alyssa and Riley. Samuel C. Fredericks age 84 of Pond Eddy, NY passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Belle Reve, Milford, PA. He was born on April 19, 1932 in Warwick, NY the son of William T. and Jennie Mabee Fredericks. Sam proudly served our country during the Korean War with the US Army. He was a member of the Pond Eddy United Methodist Church, a member of C.S.E.A. and a member of the American Legion Post #1363 in Eldred, NY. He retired from the Eldred Central School as a custodian and bus driver for the district. Samuel married Virginia C. Worzel Fredericks who survives at home. He is also survived by his daughter, Jane Fredericks of Pond Eddy, his three sons Jeffrey Fredericks and his wife Lori of Pond Eddy, John Fredericks of Milford, PA, James Fredericks and his wife Sandy of Glen Spey, his nine grandchildren, Billy and Claire Yorke, Jenna, Christopher, Matthew, Samantha, Jason, Alexis, and Ariana Fredericks, several nieces and nephews. Dorothy M. Evans age 88 of New Providence, NJ and formerly of Milford, PA passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at the ManorCare Health Facility in New Providence. She was born on November 3, 1927 in Newark, NJ the daughter of Anthony and Catherine Warzywoda Michalski. Dorothy retired as a bookeeper from the Real Estate and Insurance Firm of O'Conner-Laffey in North Arlington, New Jersey. She was a member of St. Ann's RC Church in Hampton, New Jersey, a communicant of Our Lady of Peace RC Church in New Providence, NJ and St. Mary's RC Church in Port Jervis. Dorothy was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Madonna #114, Port Jervis. She married Richard Joseph Evans who pre-deceased her. Dorothy is survived by her son Richard John Evans and his wife Carmelina of Berkeley Heights, NJ, and her granddaughter Danielle. She married Paul S. Scibek, Jr. who survives at home. Danielle is survived by her twelve children Patrick Scibek at home, Jacob Scibek of N. Conway, New Hampshire, Lisa , Lucas, Colton, Justin, Adrienne, Alessandra, Angela Josephine, Meli and Chetan Scibek all at home. She is also survived by her parents of Prospect, Conn, her sister Dominque Colemanof Waterbury, Conn, several nieces and nephews.
