      JOHN ALVA WICKS, SPARROWBUSH, NEW YORK
		
          John Alva Wicks age 97, of Sparrowbush, NY died Monday, December 29, 2014 at St. Joseph's Place, Port Jervis.  He was born on May 16, 1917 in Poughkeepsie, NY, the son of the late  Selah A. and Sara Pulling  Wicks.  John proudly served our country during WW II as a Master Sergeant with the US Army. He was  a member of the American Legion in Randolph, NY.  He was a knowledgeable antiques dealer for many years throughout the Tri-State area. He is survived by his brother Frank Wicks of Jamestown, NY, his sister, Celia Bolyard of Madison, Wisconsin, his nephew Clifford Wicks of Accord, NY, great nephew, Keith Wicks and his special friends John and Carol Tunney of Sparrowbush, NY.  Services will be private.  Arrangements are by the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E.       TIMOTHY J. DEGRAW, HUGUENOT, NEW YORK
		
          Timothy J. DeGraw age 38 of Huguenot, NY died Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Southbridge, Mass.  He was born on May 1, 1976 in Port Jervis, NY, the son of  Timothy DeGraw and Kathleen McKeon.  Timothy worked as a stage manager for Feld Entertainment, Disney  On Ice, Palmetto, Florida.  He  and his fiancé, Alisha traveled world wide  with the  Disney On Ice Tours. He is survived by his father  Timothy DeGraw and his step-mother Kimberley  of Huguenot, his mother, Kathleen McKeon of Port Jervis, his fiancé Alisha Annandale of Cottingham, England, his three sisters, Kelly Breitweiser and her husband Frank of Cuddebackville, Laurie Rasha and her companion Chris Wilgus of Montgomery, NY, Megan DeGraw at home, his two brothers, Ryan Rasha of Booneville, Indiana, and Craig DeGraw at home, his paternal grandmother Barbara Oliver of Nevada, and several nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be held  Wednesday, Dec. 31, from 10-11:30 AM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E.       MILDRED A. ORDWAY, NEWTON, NEW JERSEY
		
          Mildred A. Ordway age 92 of Newton, NJ died Sunday, December 28, at Belle Reve, Milford, PA.  She was born on August 4, 1922 in Sussex, NJ, the daughter of the late  Lawrence and Clara Klingel Johnson.  Mildred worked as a clerical secretary for Picatinny Arsenal in Dover, NJ.  She was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Newton, and a member of the Ladies of the Missionary of the church.  She was a charter member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post   #5360 in Newton, and a member of the National AARP. A family statement read " Mom was very active with her church and civic organizations, she enjoyed her many cruises and day trips with her friends."  Mildred married Harold Ordway in December 1941, who has pre-deceased her.  She is survived by her son, Duane Ordway of Rock Hill, SC, her daughter, Loree Flieger and her husband Jack of Port Jervis, her grandchildren, Donald and his wife  Tammy, Jeffrey, Karen and her husband Michael, Duane Jr. and his wife Sonya,  Chris and his wife  Merry Ann, Mark, Jenifer and her husband John, 14 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her daughter Donna L. Kean and her brother Ernest Johnson.  Visitation will be held Monday, December 29 form 5-7 PM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.  Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 30, at 11AM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home with Rev.       RICHARD J. KRAUSE, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Richard J. Kraus age 80 of Port Jervis, NY died  Monday, December 22, 2014 at his home.  He was born on November 21, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY the son of the late Andrew and Lillian Stretch Kraus. Richard proudly served our country during the Korean War with the United States Marines.  He worked as an occupational therapist for  Coler-Goldwater Hospital at Roosevelt Island, NY. Richard married  Victory Melia Kraus who survives at home.  He is also survived by his two sons, Richard Kraus of Long Island, NY and Wayne Kraus and his wife  Joan of Staten Island, NY, his daughter Arlene Kraus  of Las Vegas, Nevada, two sisters, Cathy Sharon of Montour, Long Island, Ginger Laraquda of Long Island, five grandchildren, Johanna, Daniele, Michael, Justine and Kayla, his sister-in-law Ellie Kraus of Long Island, several nieces and nephews.  He was pre-deceased by his brother Andrew Kraus. Services were held Tuesday, December 23, at 1:30PM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY, Rev.       KENNETH A. HACK, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Kenneth A. Hack age 59 of Port Jervis, NY died  Sunday, December 21, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Ctr., Middletown, NY.  He was born on January 3, 1955 in Honesdale, PA,  the son of the late Oscar and Clara Storms.  Kenneth worked as a quality control inspector for Kolmar Labs, Inc. in Port Jervis. He was a member of the Sparrowbush United Methodist Church and the Port Jervis Lodge of Elks, #645,  B.P.O. E. He married Mary Lou Worzel Hack who survives at home.  He is also survived by his son Keith Hack and his wife Sabrina of Newport News, Va., and his step-son Christopher Launt of Port Jervis, his two brothers Oscar Storms and his wife Vicki  of Bowling Green Kentucky, and Thomas Hack of Monticello, NY, his two sisters,  Holly Ambola and her husband Ray of Gold Key Lakes, PA and Lori Storms of Newburgh, NY, his two grandchildren Devon and Anthony, his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Marie and Lefty Barth of Port Jervis,  his sister-in-law Kathy Henry and her husband Leonard of Gainesville, VA and their son Matthew, several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his two brothers Lewis and Ronald Storms.  Visitation will be held Friday, December 26, from 4-6 PM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E.       ROBERT J. DURLAND, CUDDEBACKVILLE, NEW YORK
		
          Robert J. Durland, age 78 of Cuddebackville, NY died Monday, December 15, 2014 at his home.  He was born on October 12, 1936 in Middletown, NY, the son of the late  John H. and Elsie Skinner Durland.  Robert served our country during the Cuban Crisis from 1955-1959 with the US Navy. He retired from Orange & Rockland Utilities, Inc in Port Jervis as a lineman and a hydro mechanic.  He married Linda VanDruff Durland whom he always  called  "Sweetie" or "Dolly". He is  survived by his wife at home, his two sons,  Adam Durland of Palmer, Alaska and Randolph Durland and his wife  Linda of Athol, Idaho, his four grandchildren, Josh and Avery Durland, Lewis and Rebecca Pierpoint, his sister-in-law Mary Durland of Port Jervis and sister-in-law Terri Annese and her husband Louis of Otisville, one niece.  He was pre-deceased by his brother Douglas Durland. He was also pre-deceased by his  two beloved Australian Shepherds  Daisy and Tag.       ADAM W. DECKER, GLEN SPEY, NEW YORK
		
          Adam W. Decker age 33 of Glen Spey, NY died Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at  the Westchester Medical Ctr., Valhalla, NY, after a courageous battle with Epstein-Barr disease. He was born June 24, 1981 in Port Jervis, NY the son of  John N. and Donna L. Corwin Decker.  He graduated with  the class of 2000 from the Eldred Central School. Adam worked as an accountant for P& M Accounting in Monticello. He also worked for  the Lochmor Golf Course in Loch Sheldrake.  He is survived by his parents John and Donna Decker of Glen Spey,  his two brothers, John N. Decker of Shohola, PA and Timothy R. Decker of Glen Spey, his special aunts and uncles, Russell and Doreen Space of Huguenot, William and Marsha Corwin of  Tenn., and Rodney Corwin of Glen Spey, his cousins Gerald Space and his wife Jacqueline, Sara Space, Peter Minges and his wife Heidi and Andrew Minges. He was pre-deceased by his sister Erin Decker, his maternal grandparents William and Ruth Corwin and his paternal grandparents Roy and Hilda Decker. Visitation will be held Monday, December 22, from 11 Am to 1 PM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E.       MILLER M. FAGLEY, GLEN SPEY, NEW YORK
		
          Miller M. Fagley age 97 of Glen Spey, where he located after WW II, died December 9, 2014 at Frederick, Maryland.  He was born in the year 1917 in Tarentum, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Oscar A.and  Jennie Mae Fagley.  During the war he served in the Merchant Marines, Army Transport Service, beginning his career as Carpenter's Mate on a three-masted schooner and when discharged, was a licensed Second Officer on a troop transport  ship. On D-Day he commanded the landing craft (a ship's lifeboat) that transported General Robertson of the 2nd Division Rangers, onto Omaha Beach under enemy fire. He was always proud  that the general and his staff never got their feet wet.  Over the years Miller was active in the Lumberland Fire Department, where he served in many different roles, including chief; in Boy Scout Troop 102  the Port Jervis Lodge of Elks #645 B.P.O.E., the Deep Hollow Hunting Club and the National Assoc. of Duck's Unlimited. He was a member of American Legion Post 1363 and the Delaware Valley Chapter of the American Merchant Marine Veterans.  Miller was a master woodcarver, known for his walking sticks with life-like animal heads.  He was a cross country ski instructor and an ardent bicyclist.  He and his wife took many cycling trips as members of the International Bicycle Touring Society and Miller continued to ride into his 90’s.  Miller was pre-deceased by his wife Dorothy Schneider in 2001.  He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Bob Dollar of Frederick, Maryland, his grandson,  Stephen Dollar of North Carolina,  sister-in-law Jane Schneider and brother-in-law Howard Thiele, 11 nieces and nephews.  He will be missed by many dear friends whose lives he touched.  Friends may call Tuesday, December 16, from 10 - 11 AM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.  Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.  Rev.           Helen N. Lovelace age 78 of Port Jervis, NY died Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Milford Senior Care, Milford, PA.  She was born on  January 7, 1936 in Liberty, NY, the daughter of the late Edmond and Hazel Drennon Huson.  Helen worked as a seamstress for Andmore Sportswear in Port Jervis. She was a faithful member of the Eldred United Methodist  Church. She was former Cub Scout den mother, a talented artist and seamstress.  Helen married Rev. Lloyd Lovelace, who pre-deceased her. She is survived by her three daughters Mary Jane Maynard of Port Jervis,  Hazel Colon and her husband Raymond of Sparrowbush,  Charlotte Sahley and her husband Albert of Charleston, W. VA, her brother Vernon Huson of Calif.,  her sister Ruth Krumings of Philadelphia, PA, three grandchildren, Matteo, Luke, Lisa, several nieces, nephews, brothers in-law and sisters-in-law. She was pre-deceased by her  son Richard Lovelace, her brother Harvey Huson and her sister Florence Sennett.  Funeral services will  be held  Wednesday, December 17, at 1 PM in the Eldred United Methodist Church, Eldred, NY.  Rev.       GEORGE W. COMPTON, ORLANDO, FLORIDA, FORMERLY OF MILL RIFT, PENNSYLVANIA
		
          George W. Compton, age 77 of Orlando, Florida and formerly a long time resident of Mill Rift, PA, died  Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at Orlando.  He was  born on  July 19, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late George W. and Catherine O'Connor Compton.  George proudly served our country during the Korean War with the US Air Force, stationed in Hawaii as well as other assignments. He was a graduate of Orange County Community College in Middletown, NY.  In his early years George worked for JC Penny Co. He  retired as a supervisor of the Meter Reading Dept, of Orange & Rockland Utilities, Inc., in Middletown, NY.  After retirement he moved to Orlando and worked for the City of Orlando and the Cameron Group.  He was a member of the Orlando Baptist Church, a member of the Moose Lodge, the VFW and many civic organizations.  He traveled around the world extensively.  He was a  very caring and loving man who will be missed by all who knew him.  He is survived by his special friend, Marge Passmore of Orlando, his son, Mark  W. Compton of Mill Rift, PA., his daughter Lori Blumenberg and her husband Thomas of Cave City, Kentucky, his grandchildren Joseph Blumenberg and his wife Susan, Jenny Franklin  and her husband  Justin, two great grandchildren, Maddie and Colton  He is also survived by his former wife June Aeberli Eason.  Memorial services will be held Monday, December 15, at 1:00 PM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E.       DONALD J. DELELLAS, SR., PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Donald J. DeLellas, Sr. age 78 of Port Jervis, NY died Monday, December 1, 2014 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis.  He was born on September 28, 1936 in New York City, NY, the son of the late Dominic and Margaret Conaughton DeLellas. Donald served with the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a former member of the Cuddebackville Fire Dept. He retired as a stationary engineer from the Otisville Correctional Facility, Otisville, NY.  Donald married Shirley Burrows DeLellas who survives at home.  He is also survived by his son Donald  DeLellas, Jr. and his wife Roxanne of Milford, PA, his daughter Michele Barbagallo and her husband Joseph of Montague, NJ, his brother Richard DeLellas and his wife Patricia of Myrtle Beach. S.C., his grandchildren,  Nicholas, Stephen, and Sean DeLellas, Joseph and Taylor Barbagallo, his great grandchildren, Natalie, Levi, Kayden, and Skylar, his sister-in-law Betty Ehre of Huguenot, NY, several nieces and nephews.       LEWIS B. SAVACOOL, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Lewis B. Savacool age 78 of Port Jervis, NY died Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Achieve  Rehabilitation and Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY.  He was born on May 1, 1936 in Andover, New Jersey, the son of the late Herbert E. and Lillian Talmadge Savacool.  Lewis was a United States Marine serving our country during the Korean War.  He retired from Redi Mix Trucking Company in Sussex, New Jersey, as a union truck driver. He is survived by his two sons, Eric Savacool and his wife  Karen of Slate Hill, NY and Timothy Savacool and his wife Violet of Slate Hill, four grandchildren Bethany,  Mark, Austin and Sean, his brother Herbert Savacool of Newton, NJ, his nephew, Doug Savacool, his nieces, Georgina Miller and Roseland Ackerman.  Services and interment were private.   Arrangements are by the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E.
