      SUSAN M. HINKLEY, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Susan M. Hinkley age 68 of Port Jervis, NY passed away  Monday October 24, 2011 at the Pocono Medical Center, Stroudsburg, Penna.  She was born on June 16, 1943 in Port Jervis, NY, the daughter of the late  Edward and  Charlotte  McAllister Reilly.  Susan was a retired  Bookkeeper for Spangenberg-Wilbert Vault Co, in Port Jervis.   She was a  member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis,  and a former  member of the Board of Directors for the Port Jervis Little League.  She recently served on her 50 year Port Jervis High School Class Reunion Committee.  Susan married  James  J. Hinkley, who survives at home.  She is also survived by her son Christopher  Hinkley and his wife  Julie of Somers, Conn., her daughter, Melanie Hess of Port Jervis,  her 2 brothers, John Reilly and his wife  Frances  of Carneys Point, NJ, James Reilly and his wife  Clara of Matamoras, PA, her sister Nancy Reilly of Port Jervis, 3 grand daughters, Madison, Abigail and Aubrey.  Andrew Millspaugh, who she loved like her own son,  her sisters-in law and brothers-in law, Richard and Barbara Drew, John and Gloria Hinkley  and  Jean Brock and several nieces and nephews.  Susan was pre-deceased by her  sister Patricia Reilly Fish and her brother-in-law David Fish.  Friends may call Thursday October 27, from 4-8 pm at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.  The vigil wake service will be  held Thursday at the funeral home.  Prayers will be offered Friday, October 28 at 9:15 am at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church with  Rev. George Hafemann  as celebrant.  Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis.       WILLIAM H. LASS, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          William H. Lass age 83 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Sunday October 23, 2011 at his home. He was born on  February 27, 1928 in Hillside, New York, the son of the late  Harry and Elizabeth MacIntyre Lass.  He proudly served our country during WW II with the U.S. Coast Guard. Bill was a retired Gas Foreman for  Orange & Rockland Utilities, Inc., Middletown,  NY.  He was a member of the Deerpark Reformed Church, Port Jervis. He was  Founder and Charter Member of the Huguenot Fire Dept., Past Chief, Past President and a Member of the Board of the Directors.  Bill  loved to play Poker at the Huguenot Fire House and was known as the Resident Card Shark.  He married Grace E. Smith Lass, who pre-deceased him in 2008.  He is survived by his 2 sons, Daniel Lass and His wife Elizabeth of Shutesbury, Mass, William T. Lass and his wife Pamela of Port Jervis, 2 daughters Bonny Lass of Godeffroy and Deborah Lass of Port Jervis,6 grandchildren, Mary Eberling and her husband Edward, William J. Lass, Meaghan Lass, Andrew and Julia Zenker and Alexa Lass, 2 great grandchildren Ava and Robert Eberling and several nieces and nephews.  He was pre-deceased by his sister, Joan Dorsett and his adoptive father Alfred Hill.  Friends may call Wednesday October 26, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St.,Port Jervis, NY.  Firematic services will be held Wed. evening at 7:30pm.  Funeral services will be held Thursday October 27, at 10:30am at the Deerpark Reformed Church, Port Jervis.  Rev.       GEORGE E. TOPEL, MATAMORAS, PENNSYLVANIA
		
          George E. Topel age 87 of Matamoras, Pennsylvania passed away  Thursday October 20, 2011 at his home.  He was born on October 26, 1923 in Dingman Township, PA., the son of the late  Otto and Bessie Greening Topel.  George was a  retired, self-employed  Automotive Mechanic.  He was an active member of the Matamoras Rod and Gun Club and a former member of the Pike County Boys Band.  A family statement read " Daddy will be remembered by many for his unique sense of humor and his ability to share his views openly.  He enjoyed going to the hunting camp, breakfast on Thursday mornings with the Guys, and still on occasion playing his guitar.  Our thanks  goes out to his neighbors and friends for their kindness, companionship and vigilence."  George married  Ruth A. Swartwood, who pre-deceased him.  He is survived by his daughter Audrita Rybak and her husband David of Port Jervis, his brother Edgar Topel of Port Jervis, 2 grandchildren, Eric and Alyssa Rybak and several nieces and nephews.  He was pre-deceased by his 2 sisters, Maude Hotalen and  Carolyn Hulse and his brother John Topel.  Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to he Matamoras Rod & Gun Club, P.O. Box 213, Matamoras, Penna.  18336.       JOAN MARIE BALCH, MATAMORAS, PENNSYLVANIA
		
          Joan Marie Balch age 79 of Matamoras,  Pennsylvania passed away  Friday October 14, 2011 at her home.  She was born on February 25, 1932 in Matamoras, Pa., the daughter of the late  Michael and Catherine "Pinky" DeAngelo.  Joan was an avid bowler and a long time member of  the Port Jervis Bowling League.  She married Leonard L. Balch, Jr., who survives at home.   She is also survived by her 2 sons, Aaron Balch and his wife  Kathy of Windgap, Penna, and Timothy  Balch and his wife Jill of Tafton, Penna., her sister, Phyllis Basham of Matamoras,  5 grandchildren,  Aaron John Balch, Bryan Balch and his wife Alysia, Taylor, Amber and Aliah Balch.  and several nieces and nephews including her special nephew, Bruce DeAngelo and his wife Leila.  She was pre-deceased by her  brother  Michael DeAngelo and her sister Kathleen DeAngelo.  Memorial services will be held Monday October 24,  at 11am at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis.  Private interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, Penna.       CHRIS DeVRIES, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Chris DeVries age 79 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Thursday October 13, 2011 at his home.  He was born on June 4, 1932 in Prospect Park, New Jersey, the son of the late Andrew and  Lena Bruggeman DeVries.  Chris was a retired Parts Manager for Milford Chrysler Automotive in Milford, Pennsylvania and a retired Cleaner for  the Port Jervis School System.  He was  and active member and Deacon of the First Baptist  Church in Port Jervis.   He was a 53 year member of the Maghogomock Hook & Ladder Co., Port Jervis Fire Dept. and former Secretary-Treasurer and former member of the Port Jervis Volunteer Ambulance Corp.  He was also a member and Past Master  of the Port Jervis Lodge of Masons # 328 F& AM.   Chris married Elizabeth "Betty"  Bakelaar DeVries who survives at home.  He is also survived by his  3 daughters,  Christy Kessock and her husband Michael of Virginia Beach, Va., Judith Talmadge and he husband William of Matamoras, Penna., and Nancy DeVries and her partner Nancy Brown of  Huguenot, NY, 2 sons, Richard DeVries and his wife Lorraine of Buffalo, NY and Robert DeVries of Dingmans Ferry, Penna.,  10 grandchildren, Aaron, Amiee, Artel, Christopher, Collin, Victoria, Samantha and Alexander,  Billy and Ashley; 6 great grandchildren, Aspen, Autumn, Jayden, Ryleigh, Kyleigh and Madison, his niece Linda and his nephew David.  Chris was pre-deceased by his  grand daughter Heather and his brother John.  Friends may call Sunday October 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E.       EARNEST R. PARTIN, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Earnest  R. Partin, Sr. age 72 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Tuesday October 11, 2011 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY.  He was born on August 23, 1939 in Pruden Tennessee, the son of the late Leonard and Novella Davis Partin.  Earnest proudly served our country from 1957 to 1961 with the U.S. Navy..  He was a retired truck driver for Kolmar Labs, Inc., in  Port Jervis.  Earnest married  Barbara Jane Blute Partin , who survives at home.  He is also survived by his 2 sons, James L. Partin and his  wife Maryann of Ruskin, Florida, and Earnest R. Partin, Jr.  and his companion Carole Mineau of Port Jervis, his daughter, Donna Sorensen of  Queens, NY,  his brother, Jeffrey Partin of Fonde, Kentucky,   his sister Sharon a grand daughter Lisa Partin and 1 niece.       JUDITH C. QUICK, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Judith C. Quick age 71 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Saturday October 8, 2011 at St. Joseph's Place, Port Jervis.  She was born on  November 25, 1939 in Port Jervis, the daughter of the late Albert H. and Jean Cameron Bodine.   Judith was a retired Cook for the Holiday Inn  and St. Francis Hospital  both in Port Jervis.  She was best known for her love of cooking and baking and was also an excellent seamstress.  Judith married Kenneth R. Quick, who pre-deceased her.  She is survived by her 2 daughters, Michele Bijesse and her husband Bob of Phillipsport, NY and Judi Quick of Port Jervis,  her son Rodney Quick of Milford, Penna, her brother  Reid Bodine of Tobyhanna, Penna, 3 grandchildren, Caitlin Forster, John and Conner Quick and several  nieces and nephews and her beloved Dogs, Casey and Summer.  she was pre-deceased by her  brother Bruce Bodine.  Graveside services to be held at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, NY will be announced at a later date.       ROSE V. ANDRIACK, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Rose V. Andriack age 94 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Thursday October 6, 2011 at  Park Manor, Middletown, NY.  She was born in Port Jervis, on September 13, 1917, the daughter of the late James B. and Mary Valenti Andriac.  Rose was a retired seamstress for  Barbara Quilting in Port Jervis.  She was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis.  Rose is survived by her sister,  Mary Rombousek of Port Jervis, several nieces and nephews including Thomas Rombousek of Port Jervis and Robert  Rombousek and his wife Candice of  Matamoras, PA.   Rose was pre-deceased by her sisters,   Lilly Ingrassia, Carmella Trotta  Lucy Ulrich and Christine Elia, Antoinette Kurtz, Victoria Petitti, 3 brothers,  Peter,  Vito and Joseph Andriac. Friends may call prior to prayer services  at 9:15am , Tuesday October 11, at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis.       BARBARA DIAZ, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Barbara Diaz  age 72 of Port Jervis, NY passed away  Monday  October 3, 2011 at Bon Secours  Community Hospital, Port Jervis.   She was born on  August 9, 1939 in Port Jervis, the daughter of the late Kenneth and Edna Hicks Conklin. Barbara was a retired Assembler for Sparkomatic Corp, in Milford, Pennsylvania and was a member of the Deerpark Seniors.  She married Hector Diaz who survives at home. She is also survived by her mother Edna Conklin of Huguenot,  her son, Rafael Medina of Port Jervis, and her daughter  Maria of Monticello,  her sister Patricia Goddard of Monroe, NY, 2 brothers,  Kenneth Conklin and his wife Judy of Huguenot, and David Conklin and his wife Theresa of Port Jervis, 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.  Interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, Pennsylvania.
