      ARTHUR W. SMITH, PORT ST. LUCIE, FLORIDA, AND PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Arthur W. Smith age 91 of Port St. Lucie, Florida and life-long resident of Port Jervis, NY passed away on  June 9, 2011 at Port St. Lucie, Florida. He was born on  September 18, 1919 in  Jersey City, New Jersey, the son of the late Arthur and  Emma Walter Smith.  He was a veteran of the US Army and proudly served our country during WW II with the  150th Combat Engineers.  He was a life member of the Port Jervis Lodge of Elks # 645 B.P.O. E. and a Life Member of Roosa-Fleming V.F.W. Post #161, Port Jervis.  Art  had started his Plumbing and Heating contracting business in 1955 and then added a Kitchen and Bath remodeling business in 1968.  His son, Tom joined him in business in 1974.  In the early 80's they purchased Reliable Plumbing & Heating, a plumbing wholesale  and contracting business in Middletown, NY.  Art retired in the early 90's after selling the Middletown business. He was proud that his son Tom, continued the Port Jervis Plumbing & Heating business, now in it's 56th year. His  daughter-in-law Debbie, manages the Kitchen & Bath Remodeling business.  
Art Married Beatrice Merkenschlager Smith, who survives at home. He is also survived by his daughter,  Emily C. Zumpano and her husband Francis, of South Windsor, Ct., his son, Thomas A. Smith and his wife  Debora Valentine of Montague, NJ,  his sister Virginia Vaglia of Haymarket VA, 4 grandchildren, Adrien Raffia, Amy Short, Gretchen Brown & Erica Billups, 8 great grandchildren, Lauren and Kristen Raffia, Conor and Kaley Short, Ellie and Caleb Brown, Paige and Deacon Billups and several nieces and nephews.  He was pre-deceased by his sister Alice Post and his brother Donald  M. Smith. Private  graveside services and interment will be held at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, NY with Rev. Ann Rost officiating.  Memorial contributions may be made to  a Charity of Donor's Choice.  Arrangements  are by the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E.       ANNELIESE "LISA" LEPOM, PORT JERVIS, NEW  YORK
		
          July 19, 1915 - June 20, 2011  
Anneliese "Lisa" Lepom was born July 19, 1915 in Krefeld, Germany. Later she and her family immigrated to Canada and then to America, settling in Port Jervis, NY. 
She is predeceased by her loving husband, Eugen Lepom. She is survived by three daughters: Monique Bade and husband, Bruce, Heide DeVore and husband, Richard and Brigitte Hessberger and husband, Ralph; six grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. 
Anneliese was an accomplished pianist and artist. Many of her award winning paintings are still displayed throughout Germany and also in the homes of her family. 
The family will gather on Wednesday, June 22 at The Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 East Main St., Port Jervis, NY. A private prayer service will be held with Pastor Ann Rost officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at Milford Cemetery. 
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Nursing Home at 160 East Main St., Port Jervis, NY.

      DANA PADGETT, JR., PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Dana Padgett, Jr.age 88  of Port Jervis, passed away Sunday June 19, 2011 at his home.  He was born on  January 9, 1923 in Andover, New Jersey, the son of the late  Dana and Alice Brink Padgett.  Dana  retired from the Flo-Jean Restaurant in Port Jervis, where he worked for many years, along with his family.  He was  a member of the The Wickham Methodist Church, Port Jervis, and  a former member of the Mahogomock Hook & Ladder Co.  #1, Port Jervis Fire Dept.  He married Annabelle Boyd Padgett, who survives at home.  He is also survived by his 3 sons, Robert Padgett and his wife JoAnn of Port Jervis, Charles Padgett and his companion  Carol Somarelli of Port Jervis, , Stanley Padgett and his wife Joyce  of Montague, NJ, his sister,  Martha Moore of Port Jervis,  his brother, Jim Padgett of Wurtsboro, NY, his sister-in-law Grace Padgett of Sparrowbush,  His daughter-in-law Faylene Padgett of Cuddebackville, 8 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, his adopted son-  Bill Aschoff of Port Jervis,  and several nieces and nephews.  He was pre-deceased by his son, Kenneth "Sparky" Padgett.  
Friends may call Wednesday June 22,  from 2-4 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.  Funeral services  will be held Thursday June 23 at 11 am at the  Wickham Methodist Church, 32  Bruce St., Port Jervis, NY.  Rev. Robin Martineau will officiate.  Interment will take place at the Hainesville  Cemetery, Hainesville, New Jersey.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Wickham Methodist Church,  P.O. Box 104, Port Jervis, NY.       GENE H. KALIN, OF THE VILLAGES, FLORIDA, FORMERLY O MATAMORAS AND MILFORD, PENNSYLVANIA
		
          Gene H. Kalin age 68 of the Villages, Florida and formerly of Matamoras, and Milford, Pennsylvania, passed away on  Tuesday May 31, 2011  at his home.   He was born on July 31, 1942 in Port Jervis, NY the son of the late Harold and Thelma Clark Kalin.  He moved  to The Villages, Florida  from Dallas, Texas in 2003.  Gene  was  a retired Packaging Manager for Mary Kay Cosmetics.  He was a   member of the United Methodist Church of Matamoras, Penna.  He played  Division II Softball in the Villages and was an avid Dallas Cowboy Fan.  He enjoyed golf and traveling to Pennsylvania to spend time with his family.  He is survived by his wife Faith Neuber Kalin  at home, 2 sons,  Darryl Kalin and his companion Luz Otero of Hawley, Penna., and Todd Kalin  of Milford, Penna., his sister Jill  Vicchiariello and her husband Tom of Port Jervis,  His brother Hal Kalin and his wife Sue of  Matamoras, Penna., his nephews,  Jason and Matt Vicchiariello and his niece Paige Fean.  He was pre-deceased  by his son  Chip Kalin  on January 12, 2011.    Memorial services will be held  on Monday June 13, 2011 at 2 pm at the United Methodist Church of Matamoras,  211 Ave H, Matamoras, Penna.  Rev. Lora Villinger will officiate.   Private interment will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, NY.  Memorial contributions may be made to The Villagers for Hospice,  601 Casa Bella, The Villages, Fl  32162.       KENNETH A. ADAMS, SPARROWBUSH, NEW YORK
		
          Kenneth A. Adams age 59 of Sparrowbush, NY passed away Saturday June 4, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY.  He was born on  March 7, 1952 in Port Jervis, NY, the son of  Ward and Elsie Brown Adams.  Ken was a Licensed  Electrician for the City of Port Jervis and a member of the C.S.E.A..  He is survived by his daughter, Sue Ellen Latini and her husband  John of Dingmans Ferry, Pa.. His parents Ward and Elsie Adams of Matamoras,  Pennsylvania,  his brother Sam Adams of Matamoras,  5 grandchildren,  John, Branden Brianna, Kristina, and Jayden.  His sister-in-law Debbie Adams,  his niece Chelsea Adams  his nephew,  Woody Adams, and his great niece Avery Gale Adams.  He was pre-deceased by his brother Gale "Woody" Adams.  
Friends may call Tuesday June 7 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.  Private graveside  services will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, Penna.  Memorial donations may  be made to a charity of Donor's Choice.       ALAN G. SPEAKER, GLEN SPEY, NEW YORK
		
          Alan G. Speaker age 82 of Glen Spey, NY passed away  Tuesday May 24, 2011 at his home.  He was born on August 4, 1928 in  the Bronx, NY, the son of the late  Albert and Anna Fitzgerald Speaker.  Alan was a Retired Courier for Wells Fargo Armored Car Service in  New York City, NY.  He was a member and Past Chief of the Lumberland Fire Dept., Glen Spey and a  member of the Port Jervis Lodge of Elks #645 B.P.O.E., Port Jervis.  Alan married  Betty  Holthusen Speaker  who survives.  He is also survived by his 2 sons,  Robert Speaker of  Barryville, NY and Richard Speaker and his wife  Melissa of Port Jervis, 3 grandchildren,  Patrick and  Jennifer Speaker and  Jason Ward and several nieces and nephews.  Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.  Memorial donations may be made to the Lumberland Fire Dept.,   P.O. Box 91, Glen Spey, NY  12737.
