ANGELINA BUTLER BUTTERFIELD, GOSHEN, NEW YORK, FORMERLY OF PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
Angelina Butler Butterfield, age 87 of Goshen, NY and formerly a life-long resident of Port Jervis, passed away Wednesday April 27, 2011 at Glen Arden Health Care Facility, Goshen, NY. She was born on July 11, 1923, the daughter of the late Peter B. and Martha Stellato Sigreto. Ange was a graduate of the class of 1941, Port Jervis High School. Following graduation she attented and graduated from beauty school in Brooklyn, NY. While working as a beautician in Jersey City, Ange and her friends would travel to Manhattan to greet Port Jervis Service Men when they were home on leave during WW II. She then returned to Port Jervis where she owned and operated Ange's Beauty Salon until her retirement. Ange was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis, Catholic Daughters Court Madonna #114. and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society.
Ange married the late James M. Butler and then Gordon Butterfield, who survives at home. She is also survived by her son James J. Butler and his wife Debra of Novato, Calif., her daughter Jane A. Butler , 3 grandchildren Brooke, Davis and Jackson Porter all of Denver, Colo. her step-daughter Barbara Powrie and her husband Chuck of Carnation, Wash., 2 nephews, Peter Sigreto and Michael Mager and her niece Sue Ann Weymer. She was pre-deceased by her sister, Mary Mager and her brother John P. Sigreto. Friends may call Sunday May 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis. Catholic Daughters will conduct services Sunday evening at 7:30 pm at the funeral home. Prayers will be offered Monday May 2, at 9:15am at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis. MARIE C. CONKLIN, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
Marie C. Conklin age 62 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Saturday April 23, 2011 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis. She was born on July 8, 1948 in New York City, NY, the daughter of the late Michael and Sally Krajnak. Marie was a Para legal secretary for the Law Firm of Roy Skividi in New York City. She married Max A. Conklin who survives at home. Mare is also survived by her 2 sons, Jamie and Sean Conklin both of Port Jervis, her brother Michael Krajnak of Staten Island, NY and her Mother and Father -in-law, Ida and Jesse Conklin of Port Jervis. ELEANOR L. WOOD, MATAMORAS, PA.
Eleanor L. Wood age 96 o Matamoras, Pennsylvania passed away Easter sunday April 24, 2011 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis. She was born on June 5, 1914 in the Town of Greenville, NY, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Elizabeth Cleary Mulligan. Eleanor graduated form St. Mary's School in Port Jervis. She married James J. Wood on October 29, 1941, who pre-deceased her. She attended St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Matamoras. Eleanor was a retired decorator for Gillinder Glass Co., in Port Jervis for many years. In her later years she traveled extensively with her son Dr. James Edward Wood to England, Scotland, Wales, Germany,The Netherlands, Belgium, France and Ireland. She is survived by her son, Dr. James E. Wood of Matamoras, her nieces and nephews, Mary Ann Toomey, Joan and John Everett, David and Ronald Wood, grand niece and nephew, Isabelle McDermott, Richard McDermott, and her great grand niece Tara McDermott. BETTY ANN CURRAN, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
Betty Ann Curran, age 76 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Saturday April23, 2011 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis. She was born on April 5, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of the late Samuel and Bertha Albertson Stout. Betty was a retired Transporter for the Operating Room at Mercy Hospital in Port Jervis for over 33 years. She was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis. A family statement read" She will always be remembered as a loving wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and a loyal and trusted friend. She loved her family very much and her memories will live on through her family." Betty Ann is survived by her husband, Milton L. Curran at home, her daughter, Pamela Hamilton and her husband Paul of Port Jervis, her son John Curran and his wife Jeanette of Matamoras, Pa., 4 grandchildren, Amy, Kristopher, Melissa Hamilton and Shaun Hamilton and his wife Erin, 2 great grandchildren, Garrett and Adyson Hamilton, her sister-in-law, Jane Kingston of Port Jervis, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Ellie Stout and 2 nephews, Paul Curran and James West. Betty Ann was recently pre-deceased by her Beloved Golden Retreiver, "Sable".

Mildred A. Weber, age 90 of Glen Spey, NY passed away Thursday April 21, 2011 at Milford Senior Care, Milford, Pa. She was born on May 30, 1920 in Sparrowbush, NY, the daughter of the late Gilbert and Mary Coleman Conklin. Mildred married Francis J. Weber, who pre-deceased her. She was an active member of Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Pond Eddy, NY. Mildred is survived by her 2 daughters, Joan Kearney of Glen Spey, NY and Ann Kestler and her husband David of Glen Spey, 4 grandchildren, John Kearney, Matthew Kestler, Joanne Franklin and Patricia Meehan, 3 great grandchildren, Kristie, Michael and Kaitlin and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her grandson Daniel Kestler , her son-in-law Robert Kearney and 11 brothers and sisters.

Lillian R. Kuppler age 98 of Westtown, NY passed away Thursday April 14, 2011 at her home. She was born on September 23, 1912 in Hoboken, New Jersey, the daughter of the late John and Mary Theobald Sharpe. Lillian married William A, Kuppler, who pre-deceased her. She attended the Milford Bible Church in Milford, Penna. A family statement read, The most important joy to mother was being surrounded by her family." Lillian is survived by her son, Robert Kuppler and his wife Carolyn of Wake Forest, NC, her 2 daughters, Janet M. Cerullo and her husband Charles of Montvale, NJ, and Karen Wagner and her husband Wayne of Westtown, NY, 13 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, her daughters-in-law Rose and Kathy Kuppler and 2 nephews. She was pre-deceased by her 2 sons, William and Kenneth Kuppler and her grandson William Wagner. Alice May Seeber age 91 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Saturday April 9, 2011 at the Catskill Regional Medical Ctr., Harris, NY. Alice was born on November 11, 1919 in Port Jervis, NY, the daughter of the late William and Magdelena Blum Gottlieb. She was a retired waitress for the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY. Alice is survived by her son Brian H. Seeber and his wife Ann Marie of Matamoras, Pa., her sister Doris Henningson and her husband Carl of Cheektowaga, NY, her sister-in-law Marion Gottlieb of Port Jervis, 2 grandsons, Jonathan Seeber and his wife Heather and Justin Seeber and his wife Michelle, 2 great grandsons, Jason and Matthew and several nieces. Alice was pre-deceased by 2 sisters, Ruby Barth and Madeline Wickham and her brother Jake Gottlieb

JEANNIE C. BARTLETT, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
Jeannie C. Bartlett, age 98 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Friday April 8, 2011 at Milford Senior Care, Westfall Township, PA. She was born on May 10, 1912 in Milford,Pa., the daughter of the late Henry and Mabel Holcomb Cotterill. Jeannie was the oldest member of the Port Jervis HS Class of 1931. After graduation she continued her education in the field of nursing and became an LPN at St. Francis hospital, in Port Jervis. In her early career of nursing Jeannie was part of the first team to work with the physicians introducing Insulin Shock Treatment. She was an active member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Port Jervis and a member of the Lunch Bunch of the Farnum House. She was also a member of the Retired Alumni of St. Francis Hospital and the National AARP. Jeannie is survived by her Sister-in-law Harriet Cotterill of Milford,Pa., nieces, Jeannie C. Suderley and her husband Russell of Bethlehem, Pa., and Libby Cotterill and her companion Michael Murray of Milford, Pa., her nephew James Hamilton and his companion Luise of Port Jervis; great nieces and nephews, Darlene Cotterill, Henry Cotterill, II Michael and Thomas Gwin, Jessica Scott, Jim Hamilton, Sue Creegan and Diane Aberli, 12 gt.gt. nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday April 13 from 10 to 11am at the Grace Episcopal Church, 84 Seward Ave. Port Jervis. The Mass of Resurrection will follow at 11am at Grace Church. Rev. William T. Martin age 76 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Saturday April 9, 2011 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis. He was born on December 12, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Charles and Hattie Ligargeski Martin. He married Helen Hilbig Martin, who pre-deceased him. William was a retired New York City Transit Police Officer in Manhattan, NY. He proudly served our country with the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis and the NYC Police Benevolent Assoc. Bill is survived by his 2 sons, William J. Martin and his wife Katherine of Raleigh, NC, and Richard Martin of Port Jervis, his daughter, Kathleen Riordan and her husband Dennis of Port Jervis, his brother John Martin of Conn. 2 sisters, Pat Ritchie and Susan Tynatishon both of Port Jervis, 5 grandchildren Amy, Rebecca, Charlie, Emily and Jessica and several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his sister, Judy Milo.

She was born on March 28, 1928 in Sussex, NJ, the daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Sliker. Emiline was a retired Seamstress, Cook and homemaker. She was an active member of the Ladies AuxiliaryV.F.W. Post #8441, Vernon, NJ. Emiline is survived by her husband of 61 years, Frederick M. Smith, Sr, at home. She is also survied by her Daughters, Betty Scites and her husband Edward of Huguenot,NY, Deborah Davenport and her husband Richard of Sparrowbush, NY, her sons, Frederick Smith, Jr and his wife Terri of Sussex, John Smith and his wife Lisa of Sussex, and Paul Smith and his wife Ralene of Wharton, NJ, her sister, Dorothy Crown and her husband Vince of Newton, NJ; 12 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
