JOAN M. HAGGERTY, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
Joan M. Haggerty age 80 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Wednesday March 23, 2011 at Achieve Nursing Facility, Liberty, NY. She was born on July 26, 1930 in Matamoras, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Arthur and Genevieve Mayer Horst. Joan retired from St. Francis Hospital, in Port Jervis as a Registered Nurse . She married Joseph Haggerty who pre-deceased her. Joan is survived by her brother John Horst and his wife Diane of Burnsville, N.C., her niece Susan Morelli, her nephew Arthur Horst, and her closest and dear friend, Sue Morgan of Port Jervis. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis.

JOAN "TENDER BAR" GRABOWSKI, SPARROWBUSH, NEW YORK
Joan "Tender Bar" Grabowski age 83, of Sparrowbush, NY pased away on Tuesday March 22, 2011 at her home. She was born on May 24, 1927 in Port Jervis, NY, the daughter of the late Charles and Minnie Chant Weed. Joan was a retired owner and operator of Bill's Tavern in Port Jervis and later a retired Assembler for Kolmar Labs, Inc. She was married first to the late Joseph Lewis, second to Willard "Skip" Wilson and third to the late Thaddeus Grabowski. She is survvied by her son, Gary Lewis of Sparrowbush, her daughter, Lynette Brewer and her companion George Cosh of Port Jervis, 11 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her long time companion, Brian Coughlin, her cousin Richard Weed of North Carolina , her best friend Marge Houck, and her pet Shitszu " Bindy", that she loved dearly. She was pre-deceased by her son George Lewis.

ANNA DROBNY, MATAMORAS, PENNSYLVANIA
Anna Drobny, age 95 of Matamoras, Pennsylvania passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at St. Joseph's Place, Port Jervis, New York. She was born on May 12, 1915 in New York City, New York. The daughter of the late Stephen and Mary Rose Gula Boynansky. Anna was a retired assembler for Kolmar Labs, Inc., in Port Jervis. She was an active member of the Matamoras Senior Citizens. She married Michael Drobny, who predeceased her. Anna is survived by her son, John Rissetto and his wife Carmen of Tappan, New York, her daughter, June Kelly, 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her grandson Michael Rissetto. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc.,154 E. FLORENCE K. OSBORNE, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
Florence K. Osborne age 86. of Port Jervis, NY passed away Tuesday March 15, at Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte, North Carolina. She was born on June 29, 1924 in NYC, NY, the daughter of the late William and Gertrude McFadden Hughes. Florence was a retired Elder Care Giver at the Home of the Aged, Canal St., Port Jervis, NY. She married Clarence Osborne, who pre-deceased her. Florence was an active member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, in Port Jervis. A family statement read " Mom gave entirely of herself for her children. She was always doing for others and was loved by anyone who knew her. The most important enjoyment Mom received was when she was spending time with her family." She is survived by her daughter, Dolores Bellone and her husband Joseph of Pine Bush, NY, her 2 sons, Frank Osborne and his wife Sandy of Waxhaw, N.C., and Charles Osborne and his wife Eileen of Staten Island, NY. 6 grandchildren Jerry Cheshire, Stacy Culleny, Frank Osborne, Lily Tahia, Christine Pillarella and Michael Osborne, 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Kathleen Osborne and her grand daughter Linda Osborne.
Friends may call Sunday March 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Prayers will be offered Monday March 21 at 9:15am at the Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis, NY. Rev. LEO V. KUEN, JR., PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
Leo V. Kuen, Jr. age 82 of Port Jervis, NY, passed away Saturday March 12, 2011 at his home. He was born on November 5, 1928 in Narrowsburg, NY, the son of the late Leo and Emily V. Kuen, Sr.. Leo proudly served our country during WW II with the U.S. Army. He was a retired Construction Worker for Union Local # 17 in Newburgh, NY. He is survived by his wife Joyce M. Cherry Kuen at home, his 4 sons, Thomas Kuen, Stephen Kuen and his wife Deborah , Brian Kuen and his companion Halyna Manfredo and Michael Kuen and his wife Diane, all of Port Jervis. His former daughter-in-law Dianna Kuen of Sebring, Florida. He is also survived by his sister, Louella Kastor of Ohio and his brother Thomas Kuen of Narrowsburg,NY, his 8 grandchildren, Joshua, Seth, Casey,and Kevin Kuen, Stephanie Boaz, Leah Seyer, Chelsea Palmer, Rachel Kuen; 13 great grandchildren,Hailea, Myah and Alexis Seyer, Cerina, Caitlynn and Cidney Palmer, Brooklyn, Sara, and Zippora Boaz, Isaac, Andrew, Mathew Kuen and Zohar Boaz and several nieces and nephews. IRENE C. LEHMANN, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
Irene C. Lehmann age 99, of Port Jervis, NY passed away Thursday March 10, 2011 at Milford Senior Care, Westfall Township, Penna. Irene was born on January 18, 1912 in Port Jervis, NY, the daughter of the late Jacob and Emma Freidenstine Bell. Irene was married first to the late Glenn Fulmer and second to John C. Lehmann who pre-deceased her in 1987. She was a retired waitress for The Flo-Jean Restaurant in Port Jervis, for over 30 years. Irene was an active member of the Drew United Methodist Church in Port Jervis, since 1946 and a member of the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of the Matamoras Seniors.
Irene is survived by her niece, Muriel Gargano and her husband Carmelo of Milford, PA., her nephews, James Seeber and his wife Jade of Matamoras and Frank Seeber and his wife Ann of Warwick, NY. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Joyce Fulmer in 1953, her brothers, Phillip Bell and William Bell, and her sisters, Ethel Hallock, Emma Decker and Gertrude Seeber Knight.
Friends may call Monday March 14, from 10 to 11am at the Drew United Methodist Church, Sussex St., Port Jervis. Funeral services will follow at 11 am at the Drew United Methodist Church. Rev. Robert Cassidy will officiate. Interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, Penna. EVA J. "SUE" TROVEI, SPARROWBUSH, NEW YORK
Eva J. "Sue" Trovei age 92 of Sparrowbush, NY passed away Tuesday March 8, 2011 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. Sue was born on May 3, 1918 in Orange, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Francis and Cletus Artopoeus Hocke. Sue was a retired seamstress for Little Tots, Inc., Port Jervis, and T& H Bridal Co, also in Port Jervis and a member of the I.L.G.W. U. Sue celebrated 73 years of marriage to Joseph J. Trovei, who passed away in November of 2009. Shortly after Sue's birth her parents were told that she would probably have a rather short life span. From the early age of 4 years she was diagnosed with partial deafness and underwent many major surgeries and encountered many medical hardships through her entire life continuing into the 1970's and eighties. Attaining the age of 92 certainly disproved her diagnosis in the early 1900's. A statement from her Godson, Arthur Trovei, "Aunt Sue greeted everyone she met with her beautiful sparkling blue eyes and always had a smile full of love." Her daughters stated that " Mom was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great grandmother, who loved spending time with her family." Sue is survived by her 3 daughters, Joyce Curtis an her husband Robert , Marie Cherry and her husband James and Susan Krause all of Matamoras, PA. , 3 Grandchildren, Robert Curtis, Jr. and his wife Tammy, James Cherry, IV and his wife Jennifer and Kenneth Krause, Jr., 3 great grandchildren, Samuel P. Curtis, Daniel J. Curtis and Isabella M. Cherry and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday March 12, at 10 AM at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Matamoras, PA. Rev. August Ricciardi will be the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Place, 160 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. 12771. ALICE M. STOLLE, CARBONDALE, PA, FORMERLY OF PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
Alice M. Stolle, formerly of Port Jervis, passed away with family on Monday at Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA
Born in St. Joseph, Mo., daughter of the late Ormande A. and Ruth Gerwig Doyle, she was a veteran of the Women's Army Corps. She was a former volunteer for Telespond and a van driver for Allied Rehabilitation Services. She worked for many years with head injury patients in Milford, Pa at the Transitions facility.
A long time resident of Port Jervis, Alice brought her artistic skills and shared it through teaching other future artists in the Port Jervis Adult Education Program. She has resided in Carbondale, Pa since 1994.
Surviving are a son, Walter Stolle and wife, Mary Ann, Honesdale; Danielle and David Maillet and several grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by a brother, Ormande A. Doyle Jr.

Violet L. Miller age 82, of Port Jervis, NY passed away , Saturday March 5, 2011 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. Vi was born on August 5, 1928 in Port Jervis, NY, the daughter of the late David and Lois Moore Conlon. Violet was a retired sales clerk for J.J. Newberry Store in Port Jervis. She was a member of the Drew United Methodist Church in Port Jervis, and the River Valley Chapter #33, O.E..S., Port Jervis. Vi married Clarence "Bill" Miller who pre-deceased her. She is survived by her 2 daughters, Sharon Moore and her husband David of Port Jervis, and Bonnie Scolza and her husband Robert of Westtown,NY, her son John "Tank" Miller and his fiancé Valerie Green of Port Jervis, 10 grandchildren, David, Matthew, Billy, Marisa, Megan, Miranda,Amber, Layla , Clarice and her step-grandson Jonathan, 7 great grandchildren, Maris, Brianna, William, Jr. Olivia, David, Mackenzie, Jackson, several nieces and nephews and her special pet Maltese dog, "Angel"

GOTTFRIED "FRED" J. KLUEMPEN, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
Gottfried "Fred" J. Kluempen age 73 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Tuesday March 1, 2011 at the Orange Regional Medical Ctr., , Horton Campus, Middletown, NY. He was born on March 25, 1937 in Nuremberg, Germany, the son of the late Lorenz and Elionore Roth Kluempen. Fred was a retired businessman in Germany and a Business Partner at the Cornucopia Restaurant in Port Jervis. He was a member of the Deerpark Lions Club. Fred is survived by his son, Friedrich Kluempen and his wife Jennifer of Mercerville, New Jersey, his daughter Monika Kluempen of Pennington, NJ, 2 sisters, Gertrud Gronauer and Maria Kilchenstein both of Germany. His 4 grandchildren, Anne Marie, Nathan, Rebecca, and Benjamin. He is also survived by his long time companion, Gisela Neunzig, and her son Eric Neunzig and his family of Saddlebrook, NJ.
