CAROLE J. FUCHYLO, WESTFALL TOWNSHIP, PA.
Carole J. Fuchylo age 66 of Westfall Township, Pa. passed away Wednesday September 23, 2009 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. She was a loving wife,mother and grandmother as well a devoted daughter and sister. Her devotion to her family has left a legacy that has touched many. She was born on May 18, 1943, in Matamoras, Pa. the daughter of the late August "Gus" Salva and Antoinette DeAngelo Salva, who survives. Carole was an Avon Representative for more than 10 years. She was an active member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Matamoras, Pa.; a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Society, and a member of the Keystone Club, Matamoras, Pa.. She dedicated her life in service as a homeroom mother, girl scout and cub scout leader. She truly enjoyed attending her paint classes with her sister and friends.
Carole is survived by her husband Kenneth W. Fuchylo, Sr., at home., her mother Antoinette Salva; her son Kenneth W. Fuchylo, Jr. and his wife Lynn of Scranton, Pa.; her daughter, Lisa L. Kozlowski and her husband Stephen of Peckville, Pa., her sister Joann Wilcox and her husband Jim of Port Jervis, NY,7 grandchildren Alexander, Toni, Kevin, Bernadette, Edward, Samantha, and Nicolas, 4 nieces, Debbie, Diane, Donna and Deneen.

KENNETH L. SLINGERLAND, WESTTOWN, NEW YORK
Kenneth L. Slingerland age 77, a lifelong resident of Westtown, NY passed away Tuesday September 22, 2009 at St Teresa's Nursing Home, Middletown, NY, after a a battle with cancer.. He was born on September 19, 1932 at Middletown, NY, the son of the late Kenneth Y. Slingerland and Harriett Fullerton Gibbs Slingerland. Growing up on Cherry Ridge Farm, he started his own businesses, Slingerland's Honey and Slingerland's Truck Caps. As a teenager, his hot-rodding exploits made the local newspaper. During the late 70's and early 80's he owned stock car #25, which raced at The Orange County Speedway. He loved the outdoors and beekeeping. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joan Hoffman Slingerland, at home. He is also survived by his three daughters, Leslie Raymond and her husband Wil of Wallkill, NY, Patricia Fielding and her husband John of Mt. Penn, Pa. and Amy Slingerland of New York City, NY; his grandchildren, Jessica Kirch, Sara Sheiner and Jay and Joanna Fielding.

PATRICIA WAGNER, GLEN SPEY, NEW YORK
Patricia Wagner age 57, of Glen Spey, NY passed away Monday September 21, 2009 at Memorial-Sloan Kettering Hospital, NY, NY. She was born on January 14, 1952 in Port Jervis,NY, the daughter of Peter Pecirillo and the late Mary Monahan Pecirillo. Patti married Dane Wagner, who survives at home. She was a retired Benefits Administrator for Kolmar Labs, Inc., Port Jervis, NY. . She was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis, NY. In addition to her husband Patti is survived by her daughter Meghann Davis and her husband Christopher of Port Jervis. She is also survived by her father, Peter Pecirillo of Port Jervis, and her sister Nancy Cacchione of Sparrowbush, NY and several cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday September 24 , 2009 at 10am at St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis, NY. Interment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY. RUTH ANNE HAMILTON, WESTTOWN, NEW YORK
Ruth Anne Hamilton age 67 of Westtown, NY passed away Sunday September 13, 2009 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. She was born on January 14,1942 at Fardale, New Jersey, the daughter of the late William and Louise Parent Bogert. Ruth married Earle Hamilton, who pre-deceased her. She is survived by her son Scott DeGroat and his wife Karen of Westtown, NY, her sister Betsy Traynor of Navvvarre, Florida, her brother Theo Bogert of Orlando Florida. She is also survived by her grandson Josh and her grand daughter Heidi and several nieces and nephews.
Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family. VIRGINIA DeMOUTH ASHWORTH, WESTBROOKVILLE, NEW YORK
Virginia DeMouth Ashworth of Westbrookville, NY passed away Friday September 11, 2009 at her home, after a valiant battle with cancer for nine years. Her goal to live long enough for her two granddaughters to remember her, and love her, was achieved.
Virginia was born on November 5, 1935 at Middletown, NY, the daughter of the late William and Katharine Luft DeMouth. She was a retired Lic. Practical Nurse at the Orange County Infirmary, Goshen, NY. Virginia then became a Real Estate Broker, operating Ashworth Realty along with her husband Harold ,who survives her at home in Westbrookville. She is also survived by her 2 daughters, Virginia K. O'Haire and her husband Stanley Turkowski of Jupiter, Florida, and Fern M. Ashworth and her husband Paul Myruski of the Town of Greenville, NY, her brother William DeMouth of Circleville, NY; 2 grandchildren Alyssa Myruski and Theresa Turkowski, 1 niece and 1 nephew.
After marrying Harold she became a full time homemaker and turned her home into a beautiful retreat from the outside world. Virginia had many talents, including sewing,stenciling, embroidery, making braided rugs, and stained glass. She and Harold enjoyed traveling, both abroad and across the U.S. They made several trips to the Native American reservations out West, packing their station wagon with much needed supplies for charity distribution to the Native Americans.
She was an active member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Midldetown, NY. Virginia was a lover of the arts, history, books, culture and her church family. Her enthusiasm as a member of her church charity work, for those less fortunate and giving hope and support to anyone she knew who needed a kind word, made her a great lady.
Memorial Services, celebrating Virginia's life will be held Saturday September 19, at 2pm in the Grace Episcopal Church, corner of North and Depot Streets, Middletown, NY. Rev. John Warfel will officiate. Inurnment will take place in the Grace Church Columbarium, Middletown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Grace Church Memorial Garden, 58 North St., Middletown, NY 10940 or to Hospice of Orange & Sullivan, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550. Mary Noll age 91 of Port Jervis, NY passed away Tuesday September 8, at Middletown Park Manor, Middletown, NY. She was born on August 27, 1918 at Heckschersville, Pa., the daughter of the late John and Mary Kasinetz. Mary was retired Long Lines operator for At & T, New York, NY. She married Vincent P. Noll who pre-deceased her. She is survived by her son-in-law Herman"Lefty" Barth and his wife Marie of Port Jervis, NY. She is also survived by her grand daughter Laura
Frank and her husband Glenn of Falls, Pa., her grandsons, Paul Barth of Otisville, NY and Michael Barth and his wife Dorothy of Matamoras, Pa.; 5 great grandchildren, Timothy Frank, Paul Barth, Jr, Cynthia, Joseph and Jacob Barth; her extended family, Kathleen Henry, Marylou Hack, Matthew and Christopher. She was pre-deceased by her daughter, Anne Barth, her grand daughter, Patricia Anne Eberhard, her great grand daughter, Sheryl Anne Barth and her grand daughter-in-law Anne Barth.

John F. Glennen, age 78, of Port Jervis, NY, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at his home in Port Jervis.
He was born on March 1, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late John and Margaret Ayling Glennen.
John was a retired salesman for Orange West Plumbing Supply in Port Jervis and Middletown, NY. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy, proudly serving our country during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his wife, August 'Auggie' Brown Glennen.
John is survived by his daughter, Linda Lee Glennen and husband, Robert Bea of Shohola, PA; one brother, Thomas Glennen of Unionville, NY; two grandchildren, Michelle Pearson and husband, Randy and Sgt. Zachary Travis, U.S. Army; one great-grandson, Ezra Pearson; and several nieces and nephews.

Carla Doolittle of Damascus, Pa. and 20 West 64th Street, (One Lincoln Plaza), New York, N.Y. died on Friday, September 4 at Calvary Hospital after a period of declining health. She was predeceased by her parents Wesley and Doris Doolittle. She leaves behind her step-mother Rose Doolittle, her companion of many years Edward Wezowicz, her aunt Miriam Balrenburg, several cousins and many wonderful friends.
In her lifetime, she was involved with Raw Space on 42nd St, managed the executive dining rooms for Kawasaki and Sony in NYC. She owned Doolittle’s Café in Nyack, N.Y. and was on the board of directors of Way Off Broadway in Honesdale, Pa. She served on the board of directors of the women’s auxiliary of Wayne Memorial Hospital and was also involved in real estate in Pennsylvania and New York City. She will be remembered for her many charitable works, love of animals, generous spirit, kind heartedness and loving ways.
A memorial service will be held on Friday September 11 at 11 am, Rev. Stephen Huston will officiate, at Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis, New York.

Benjamin W. Murray, Jr. age 91, of Port Jervis, NY passed away Wednesday September 2, 2009 at his home.
He was born on April 23, 1918 in Port Jervis, NY, the son of the late Benjamin W. Murray, Sr. and Gertrude Saxon Murray. Ben married Helen Gillen Murray, who predeceased her.
He was a retired Registered Public Accountant with the Department of Audit for the State of New York at Binghamton.
After his retirement with the State, he continued his private practice in accounting with Earl Edwards Accounting, Port Jervis.
He was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church, Port Jervis. He proudly served our country with the U.S. Navy during World War II.
Ben is survived by his three daughters: Gillen Murray of W. Palm Beach, FL, Nanne Brundage of Walker Valley, and Patrice Olver of Montague, NJ; two grandsons, Thomas A. Olver and John P. Olver; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Jack Murray; his two sisters, Gertrude Doyle and Mary Quick.

John 'Jack' Quinn, age 86, of Port Jervis, passed away Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Belle Reve, Milford, PA.
He was born on March 10, 1923 in Jersey City, NJ, the son of the late John B. Quinn and Mae Marshall Quinn.
Jack proudly served our country during World War II with the U.S. Army. He married Marion Luckey Quinn. He was a retired conductor with the Erie Railroad, Port Jervis. He was a member of the Roosa-Fleming V.F.W. Post #161, Port Jervis, the Matamoras Rod & Gun Club and the N.R.A.
He is survived by his wife, Marion 'Honey' Quinn, at home; his four sons: Jeffrey Quinn and his wife, Heather of Rio, NY, Scott Quinn and his wife, Elena of Milford, PA, Michael Quinn and his wife, Cathy of Port Jervis and John Quinn of Matamoras, PA; two sisters, Marian Titus and her husband, Bill of Rockport, MA and Dorothy Gordon and her husband, Donald of Burlington, MA; eight grandchildren: Meagan, Steven, Colin, Ryan, Connor, McKenna, Kaleigh and Michael; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary E. Clark, age 90, of Gulfport, Florida and formerly lifelong resident of Huguenot, NY, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2009 at the Palms of Pasadena Hospital, Pasadena, FL.
She was born on April 18, 1919 in Huguenot, NY, the daughter of the late John and Almedia Sarine Decker.
Mary was a retired seamstress for Andmore Sportswear, Inc., Port Jervis. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, Gulfport, FL.
Mary is survived by three sons: Stanley Clark and his wife, Bertha Mae of Tallahassee, FL, Gurney Curtis and his wife, Angela of Monticello, NY and Harry Chudley and his partner, Juan Aponte of Gulfport, FL; her daughter, Almedia Mary Morgan and her husband, John of Huguenot, NY; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Larry and John Clark; several sisters and brothers.
