      CLAIRE JAMES MUENCH, MATAMORAS, PA.
		
          Claire James Muench  age 79, of Matamoras, Pennsylvania passed away Wednesday August 12, 2009 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis.  She was born on  June 17, 1930  at White Mills,  Pennsylvania, the daughter  of the late  Bernard and  Caroline Renken Rimlinger.  Claire was a retired Sewing machine operator for Andmore Sportswear, Inc., Port Jervis.  She is a member of St. Joseph's  R.C. Church, Matamoras,  Pa.; the I.L.G.W.U.; Matamoras Senior Citizens,  and a life  member of the Tri-States Naval Ship #7241, Ladies Auxiliary, Port Jervis.  She was preceded in death by her first husband Gifford James and  her second husband  John Muench.  Claire is survived by her  son Neil James of Harpursville, NY, 2 stepdaughters, Janice Mons and her husband  Brian of Naugatuck, Conn., Beth Pergola and her husband Dr. Richard  Pergola of Orangeburg, NY; Her brother  Henry Rimlinger and his wife Judy of  Hawley, Pa.; 4 grandsons,  1 great grandson, 4 step-grandsons , 1 step-great grand daughter and several nieces and  nephews.  She was pre-deceased by her son Dennis James, her brother Sgt. Lawrence Rimlinger and her sisters, Dolores Mitchell and Audrey Brundage.
Friends may  call Monday August 17 from 10:30am to 12 noon at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154  E. Main St., Port Jervis. Prayers will be offered at 12:15  on Monday at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1pm at St. Joseph's RC Church, Matamoras, Pa. with Rev.  John Ryan as celebrant.   The  Ladies Auxiliary will conduct memorial services at 11:30 am on Monday at  the funeral home.  Interment will take place at St. John's Cemetery, Honesdale, Pa. with Rev. William J.P.       HELEN LOUISA CHANDLER, SPARROWBUSH, NEW YORK
		
          Helen  Louisa Chandler age 92, of Sparrowbush, NY passed away Wednesday August 12, 2009 at Belle Reve, Milford, Pa.  She was born on February 11, 1917, at Sparrowbush, NY , the daughter of the late  Frank and Helen V. Gillson Cherry.  She retired from the H& M Knitting Mill, Port Jervis, NY.  Helen married  James  R. Chandler, Sr.,  on Sept. 15, 1938, who pre-deceased her.  She is a member of  the Sparrowbush United Methodist Church, Sparrowbush, NY.
Helen is survived by her  son James  R. Chandler, Jr. and his wife Mary of Sparrowbush, NY; 2 daughters,  Joy Ryerson and her husband David of  Glen Spey, NY and Cherry Behrens and her husband Roy of Melbourne, Florida. She is also survived  by  her sister,  Anna Campbell of Matamoras, Pa.; 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.    She was pre-deceased by her grandson, Kevin Chandler, her sisters,  Katherine "Kitty" Cherry and Grace Cherry and  2 brothers,  Edgar and Philip Cherry. 
Friends  may visit Friday Aug. 14, from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Knight-Auchmoody  Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday August 15, 2009 at 11am at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY, with Rev. Amy Garret officiating.  Interment will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, NY.  Memorial contributions may be made to Karen Ann  Quinlan  Hospice, 315 W.       OLIVIA I. ELLNOR, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Olivia I. Ellnor age 85, of Port Jervis, NY passed away  Thursday July 30, 2009 at St. Joseph's Place, Port Jervis, NY.  She was born  on September 21, 1923 at Port Jervis, NY the daughter of the late Roland J. and  Cornelia  E. Decker Ellnor.  Olivia was a retired  Secretary for  the Drug Enforcement Administration,  Office of Internal Security, at Fort Lee, New Jersey. She was a member of the  Mizpah Chapter  #484, O.E. S.,  at Forest Hills, NY.   She is survived by several cousins. Funeral  Services were  held  Monday August 3,  2009. Interment took place at Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville, NY.       ASHER E. SCHOONOVER, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK
		
          Asher E. Schoonover age 78, of Port Jervis, NY passed away Wednesday August 5, 2009 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. He was born on July 16, 1931 in Frankford Township, New Jersey, the son of the late Russell and Jennie Rysdeck Schoonover. Asher proudly served our country with the US Army during the Korean War. He was a retired Deck Fitter for Ford Motor Co, at Mawah, NJ. He then worked for Selective Risk Insurance Co, as an office contractor in Branchville, NJ. Following his retirement from both companies he went to work for Walt-Mart, as a Greeter, in Westfall Twshp, Pa. Asher is a member of the Dingmans Ferry United Methodist Church, Dingmans Ferry, Pa. He married Shirley A. Wilson Schoonover, who survives at home. He is also survived by his 2 sons, Gary A. Schoonover of Dingmans Ferry, Pa. and Kevin Schoonover and his wife Cristie of Sandyston, NJ., 2 daughters, Cindy Gleason and her husband Harold Vandermark of Orlando, Fla. and Erin Sharpe and her husband Keith of Milford, Pa.; 2 sisters Doris Pitts of Silver Springs, Fla. and Gladys Utter of Sussex County, NJ. He is survived by seven grandchildren, Bruce, Steven, Chelsea, Jennifer, Morgan, Zach and Kyle, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held Monday August 10, 2009 at 11am a the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Pastor Matthew Riley will officiate. Interment will be private.       JEAN MARIE GREEN KOENIG, MATAMORAS, PA.
		
          Jean Marie Green Koenig age 71, was called home on June 7, 2009, on angel wings.  She was born  January 19, 1938, in Matamoras, Pennsylvania, and lived  her  life honoring our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  She relocated to Destin in 1975.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Robert  P. Green, Jr.and sister, Rosemary Green; her parents, Catherine A. and Robert P. Green; a niece Katherine Mary Franklin.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Lawrence H. Koenig, Jr. of Port Jervis, NY, her sister and brother-in-lae  Carlene and William Franklin and  their children William, Bobbielynn and kathleen; sisters-in-law Loretta Buchanan of Matamoras, Pa. , Linda and Russell Otto of Sparrowbush, NY and Beth and Robert Emerson of Sparrowbush, NY.  Also surviving are children, Kathy Ann Koenig Wieland and husband, A.J., Lindylou Koenig Mayhue and husband Gene Robert.; Robert Koenig and wife Tina.  Grandchildren, Amber Wieland Norton and husband  Daniel, Christopher Mayhue, Kristina Koenig,Brie Anne Wieland, Joshua Mayhue, Aaron Jesse Wieland, Latie Koenig and Brandan Mayhue; and great-grandchildren, Kailey Grace Norton and Kaleb Coy Norton.
