Marjorie Hissam Cokelette Konkol, Greentown, Pa., formerly of Matamoras, Pa.
Marjorie Hissam Cokelette Konkol, a lifelong resident of the area, died Thursday, May 25, 2006 at her home. She was 77.
The daughter of the late Lucian and Hazel Major Hissam, she was born March 23, 1929 in Milford, Pa.
Marjorie was retired from the housekeeping department for Eddy Farm Hotel in Sparrowbush, N.Y. She was a member of Milford Bible Church in Milford, Pa.
She is survived by her husband, Stanley Konkol, at home; one son, Leland Cokelette and his wife, Tina, of Matamoras, Pa.; one daughter, Nanette Lemke and her companion, Frank Fox, of Little Rock, Ark.; her brother, Robert Hissam of Matamoras, Pa.; her sister, Peggy Lemke of Matamoras, Pa.; 11 grandchildren: Michelle and her husband, Joe, Ben and his wife, Niki, Melissa and her husband, Ken, Walter, Amanda, Heather and her husband, Ken, Lee Jr., BJ and his wife, Krysta, Jack, Ashley and Tyler; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Ferris J. Cokelette, Jr.; her son, John R. Cokelette; a brother, William Hissam, and a sister, Myra Stone.
Friends may call on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 East Main St., Port Jervis, N.Y.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Robert E. Foster officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Matamoras, Pa.

Willaim B. Conklin, Sparrowbush, New York
William B. Conklin, Sr. of Sparrowbush, N.Y., died Friday, May 26, 2006 at Orange Regional Medical Center on the Horton Campus in Middletown. He was 67 years old.
He is the son of the late Clarence Conklin and Margaret Conklin who survives. He was born on March 31, 1939 in Huguenot, N.Y. and was married to Kathleen Corwin Conklin, who also survives. William has been a life-long resident of the area.
William was a retired assembler for Skydyne Corp., Port Jervis. He was a member for over 40 years of the Minisink Bowling League.
A family statement reads: "He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather. He fought a courageous battle with his illness, and will be sadly missed by all who loved him."
Survivors include his wife, Kathleen Corwin Conklin at home; son, William Conklin and his wife, Ann Marie, of Port Jervis; daughter, Vickey Conklin, of Sparrowbush; his mother Margaret Conklin, of Port Jervis; three brothers, Clarence Conklin, of Port Jervis, Gary Conklin, of Wurtsboro and Alan Conklin, of the state of Florida; three grandchildren, William, Brian and Travis; sister-in-law Betty Kalin, of Port Jervis; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son Steven Conklin.
Friends may call on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 9:30-10:30 a.m. at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main Street, Port Jervis.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Mayer will officiate.
Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush , NY.

Rose E. Salatti, Port Jervis, New York
Rose E. Salatti, a longtime area resident, died Sunday, May 21, 2006 at St. Joseph's Place in Port Jervis. She was 77.
The daughter of the late Joseph and Jenny Mure, she was born June 2, 1928 in Brooklyn.
Survivors include her husband at home, Anthony J. Salatti; one daughter, Elena Ladika and husband Fred of Port Jervis; two sons, Frank Salatti and wife Patricia of Tampa, Fla., Anthony Salatti and wife Jill of Wurtsboro; two sisters, Millie Veneri of Waterbury, Conn., Ann Mandraccia of Brooklyn; one brother, Joseph Mure of Massapequa Park, N.Y.; seven grandchildren, Fred and wife Sheila, Tammy and husband Francisco T., Jennifer, Frank and wife Jennie, Andrew, Danielle and Emily Rose; two great-grandchildren, Cory and Aylssa; and several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be private.

Frank R. Breitweiser, Sr. of Cuddebackville, N.Y.
Frank R. Breitweiser, Sr. of Cuddebackville, N.Y. died Thursday, May 18, 2006 at Arden Hill Hospital in Goshen, N.Y. He was 94 years old.
The son of the late August and Wilhemina Peyer Breitweiser, he was born in Jersey City, N.J. on October 7, 1911.
Frank was a long time resident of the area. He was a retired instrument worker for Bendix Aviation in Teterboro, N.J.
Frank was married first to the late Margaret Burke Breitweiser and then to the late Theresa Breitweiser.
He was a member of Holy Name R.C. Church, Otisville, N.Y., a Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II, in New Guinea, he was a member of B.P. Order of Elks, in New Jersey, the German American Club, Deerpark Senior Citizens, V.F.W., and the N.R.A. Frank was also a first violinist with the Jersey City Symphony Orchestra. He had his own Egg Route business at one time; worked on watches and clocks at a clock shop; was a smoking pipe maker at a pipe shop, and worked on the instruments for the Apollo Space Missions.
His survivors include 2 sons Frank Breitweiser and his wife Sharon of Cuddebackville, Thomas Breitweiser and his wife Linda of Spotswood, N.J., 8 grandsons Thomas, Michael, Daniel, James, Jason, Frank, Timothy, Andrew as well as several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers Richard, Joseph, August, Louis and John and sisters Louise, Caroline, Theresa, Margaret and Anna.
Friends may call Sunday, May 21, 2006 at 2-6 p.m. at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis, N.Y.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, May 22, 2006 at 1p.m. at Holy Name R.C. Church, Otisville, N.Y.
Officiating will be Msgr. Peter TranVanPhat.
The Vigil wake service will be held Sunday afternoon at 5 p.m. at the Funeral Home with Msgr. Peter TranVanPhat officiating.
Burial will be in Holy Name Cemetery, Otisville, N.Y.

Gertrude C. Capra, Dingmans Ferry, Pa.
Gertrude C. Capra of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., a homemaker, died Monday, May 15, 2006 at Stroud Manor, Beverly Health Care in East Stroudsburg, Pa. She was a long time resident of the area. She was 94 years old.
Gertrude was the daughter of the late Herbert and Agnes Hayes Conklin and born in New York City, N.Y. on October 9, 1911. She was married to the late Hugo Capra, Sr.
She was member of St. Vincent de Paul R.C. Church, Dingmans Ferry, Pa., as well as a member of Third Order of St. Francis, N.Y.C., N.Y.
Survivors include 2 daughters Roberta Adorno and her husband Samuel of Dingmans Ferry, Pa., Genevieve Wagner and her husband Daniel of Monroe, N.Y., 2 sons Frank Capra and his wife Lillian of Flanders, N.J., Hugo Capra of N.Y.C., N.Y., 11 grandchildren Andrew, Theresa, Matthew, Mark, Laura, Lisa, Erica, Barbara, Daniel Jr., Elizabeth and Christine. As well as several great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by 3 grandchildren Anthony Adorno, U.S. Marine, Francis A. Capra Jr. and Eric Capra.
Friends may call on Wednesday, May 17 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main Street, Port Jervis. A vigil wake service will be held Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. in the funeral home with Father Mullen officiating.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, May 18 at 10 a.m. in St. Vincent de Paul R.C. Church, Dingmans Ferry, Pa. The Rev. Paul Mullen will be officiating.

Jessie W. McKeeby, Port Jervis, New York
Jessie W. McKeeby, a retired Dietary Assistant for St. Francis Hospital in Port Jervis, N.Y. and lifelong resident of the area, died Saturday, May 13, 2006 at St. Joseph's Place, Port Jervis, N.Y. She was 93. The daughter of the late Charles Mortimer and Catherine Wilson Mortimer, she was born February 22, 1913 in Paterson, N.J. She was a member of the Drew United Methodist Church in Port Jervis. She is survived by one son, Thom McKeeby and his wife, Barbara, of Port Jervis; two daughters, Glenda Bohan of Port Jervis and Mary Jane Gardner and her husband, Oscar, of Williamsburg, Va.; one sister, Catherine Canfield of Williamsburg, Va.; three brothers: Hugh C. Mortimer of Hornell, N.Y., William Ganz of Sparrowbush, N.Y., and Russell Ganzof of Wayne, N.J.; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Glenn L. McKeeby; her sister, Anna Felter, and her son-in-law, Jack Bohan. Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family, with the Rev. Robert Cassidy officiating. Burial will be at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, N.Y. Doris Cole Fedorka, Formerly of Port Jervis, New York
Doris Cole Fedorka, a lifelong area resident, died Thursday, May 4, 2006 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus, Middletown. She was 72.
The daughter of the late James Cole and Marjory Case Cole, she was born Feb. 2, 1934 in Port Jervis.
Survivors include her husband Michael Fedorka; three sons, Robert J. Smith and wife Susan of Matamoras, Pa., Gregory C. Smith and wife Lori of Blairstown, N.J., Timothy A. Smith and wife Jane of Huguenot; one daughter, Margaret Mae Smith of Huguenot; one brother, James Cole of South Carolina; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her brother, Richard Cole.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Interment will be private.

Shirley P. Fleuret
Shirley P. Fleuret, a longtime area resident, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the home of her daughter, Kathleen Masker. She was 89.
The daughter of the late Charles Pinney and Edith Carter Pinney, she was born January 11, 1917 in Rochester, Vt.
She was a retired Manager for Fun-Fare in Harris, N.Y. She was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Matamoras, Pa.; and past President of the Ladies Auxiliary, V.F.W., Middlebury, Vt.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathie Masker and her husband, Richard "Huck", of Matamoras, Pa.; three brothers: Noel Cady and his wife, Jean, of Grafton, N.H., Edward Conniff and his wife, Connie, of Gloversville, N.Y., and Stephen Conniff and his wife, Jo-Patricia, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; one sister, Regis Tewksbury of Okeechobee, Fla.; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, the late Raymond Conniff, and her second husband, the late William Fleuret.

Alice E. Winans Clarke, a lifelong resident of the area, died Tuesday, May 2, 2006 at the Belle Reve Skilled Care, in Milford, Pa. She was 91.
The daughter of the late Edmond and Evelyn Morris, she was born February 1, 1915 in Buffalo, N.Y.
Alice was a retired waitress for the Flo-Jean Restaurant; Colonial Inn, Port Jervis; the Golden Steer, Matamoras, Pa.; Tom Quick Inn, Milford, Pa., and the Rendevous Restaurant in Montague, N.J.
She was a member of the Matamoras Seniors; A.A.R.P., and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Marsch-Kellogg American Legion, Milford, Pa.
She is survived by one son, Jerry Winans and his wife, Janith, of Matamoras, Pa.; two daughters, Nancy Finn of Milford, Pa. and Linda Segarra of Kingston, Pa.; eight grandchildren: Philip and Christopher Barletto, Theresa Brink, Jessica Goggins, Kayla Finn, Laura, Michael and Luke Segarra; five great-grandchildren: Amanda, Alyse, Isabele, Philip, Jessica, and Mackenzie; and one great-great-grandson, Matthew.
She was predeceased by her first husband, the late Leland Winans; and her second husband, the late John Clarke.
