Michael L. Sweeney, age 48, passed away Monday, May 11, 2009 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY.He was born on January 5, 1961 in Port Jervis, NY, the son of the late James W. Sweeney and Doris Haas Sweeney, who passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2009.Michael was a Project Manager and Proprietor of the Sweeney Group. He married Vicki L. Cherry Sweeney, who survives at home.He is also survived by his daughter, Kathryn Sweeney and her husband, Tristan Shuster of Port Jervis; two brothers, Kenneth Sweeney and his wife, Cindy of the Town of Greenville and James F. Sweeney of San Antonio, TX; his mother-in-law, Elsie Cherry of Port Jervis; and several nieces and nephews.Private services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.Memorial donations may be made the American Heart Association.Arrangements by Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E.
