ROGER A. HOWARD, MATAMORAS, PA.

Roger A. Howard, age 53, of Matamoras, PA, passed away on Saturday, March 29, 2008, at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY.He was born February 18, 1955 in Port Jervis, NY, the son of Elizabeth Norton Bohannon and the late George Bohannon.Roger was a Supervisor for the Department of Public Works, Borough of Matamoras, PA. He was a member of the Drew United Methodist Church in Port Jervis, NY, the Matamoras Fire Department and The Coffee Club at Chrissies Corner, Matamoras.He is survived by his wife, Susan Culver Howard, at home; his mother, Elizabeth Bohannon of Matamoras, PA; his son, Roger Howard, at home; his daughter, Jennifer Glass and her husband, Kenneth of Port Jervis, NY; three brothers: Walter Howard of Sparrowbush, NY, Joseph Howard of Westtown, NY, and Robert Howard of Matamoras, PA; two sisters, Patricia Reynolds of North Carolina and Elizabeth Knight of Pittsburgh, PA. He is further survived by his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edwin and Agnes Culver of Port Jervis; brothers-in-law, Robert Culver of Port Jervis and Ronald Culver of New Paltz; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Daniel Howard.Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 3, at 1 p.m. in the Drew United Methodist Church, Port Jervis, NY, with the Rev.
