EARL E. SNOOK, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK

Earl E. Snook, age 82, late of Port Jervis, NY, passed away on Monday, March 31, 2008, at his home.The son of the late George and Anna Austin Snook, he was born in Port Jervis, NY on February 11, 1926.Earl was a retired caretaker for St. Mary's R.C. Church and St. Mary's Cemetery, Port Jervis, NY. He was member of the Deerpark Reformed Church, Port Jervis, NY and a veteran of World War II serving with the U.S. Army. He graduated from Ithaca State College earning his BA in Economics.He is survived by his sister, Pauline Moon of Port Jervis, NY; three nieces: Cheryl, Robyn, and Nancy, and two nephews, Darwyn and Fred. He was predeceased by his sister, Laura Schenderlein.Friends may call on Wednesday, April 2, from 7-9 p.m. at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis.Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 3, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Ann Rost officiating.
