Benito Linares, Sr., age 76, of Port Jervis, NY, passed away Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Park Manor, Middletown, NY.
He was born in Peru on March 21, 1934, the son of the late Francisco and Maria Prado Linares.
Benito was Laborer of the Local 79 in New York, NY. He married Nina Pacheco Linares, who survives at home.
He is also survived by his two sons, Benito Linares, Jr. and his wife Nicole of Port Jervis, NY and Gary Linares and his wife Gina of Bronx, NY; his daughter Maria Tannuras and her husband Paul of Greenville, NY; five grandchildren, Daniel, Gary, Asante, Gary Jr., and Angelina.
Friends may Thursday, July 15 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 16 at 10:30am at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home. Deacon Wayne will officiate. Interment will take place at the convience of the family.
