Nettie Babcock, age 84, of Town of Greenville, NY. passed away Friday May 21, 2010 at Orange Regional Medical Ctr., Horton Campus, Middletown, NY. She was born on December 22, 1925, in Hamburg, NJ, the daughter of the late William and Frieda Hanger Aumick. Nettie was a member of the Otisville-Mt. Hope Presbyterian Church, Otisville, NY Nettie married Glendon Babcock, who pre-deceased her. She is survived by her 2 sons, Glendon Babcock ,Jr. and his wife Joyce of Lake Huntington, NY, Eric Babcock and his wife Amy of Charlotte, NC; 5 daughters, Patricia Waters of Melbourne, Florida, Terry Lyons and her husband Walt of Maysville, N.C.,Glenda Jones and her husband Charles of Monticello, NY, Eva Martin and her husband Daniel of Glen Spey, NY,Ramona Conklin and her husband Theodore of Huguenot,NY, 2 sisters, Frieda Banks of Charlotte, SC and Leona Little of Port Jervis, NY; 22 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by several sisters and brothers.
Friends may call Monday May 24th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.
