Judith Malzahn age 66, of Sparrowbush, NY passed away Friday April 2, 2010 at her home. She was born on October 6, 1943 at Matamoras, Pa., the daughter of the late Robert and Shirley Tayton Lyon. Judy married Clinton "Bud" Malzahn, who survives at home. She is an active member of the Sparrowbush United Methodist Church, Sparrpowbush, NY, and the C& M Builders of the Church. In addition to her husband Judy is survived by her 2 sons, Clinton Malzahn, Jr. and his wife Regina of Shohola, Pa., and Robert Malzahn and his wife Deborah of Pond Eddy, NY, her brother, Donald Lyon and his wife Ruth of Westerlo, NY; 5 grandchildren, Christopher, Patricia, Joseph, Kaitlyn and Sarah, 2 nephews, 1 niece, her brother-in-law James Malzahn and his wife Diane of Sparrowbush, her sister-inlaw, Frances Towle and her husband George of Branchville, NJ and her aunt Gloria Lyon of Virginia Beach, Va.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 6, 2010 at 2pm at the Sparrowbush United Methodist Church, Main St., Sparrowbush, NY. Rev. Amy Garrett will officiate. Interment will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, NY. Memorial donations ,may be made in Judy's memory to the Sparrowbush United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 596, Sparrowbush, NY 12780.
