MARIE "MITZI" KLASS, SPARROWBUSH, NEW YORK

Marie "Mitzi" Klass age 96, of Sparrowbush, NY, passed away Sunday December 20, 2009 at Belle Reve, Milford, Pa.. She was born on July 21, 1913 in Ringelsdorf, Austria, the daughter of the late Anton and Marie Kainz Wrba. Mitzi married Frank Stanzl, who pre-deceased her and then married the late Adolph "Ardie" Klass. Mitzi was the former Co-owner of the Alexander Hotel, in Sparrowbush, NY. She is survived by her 2 sons, Frank A. Stanzl and his wife Candy of Port Jervis, NY and Ardie Klass and his wife Sue of San Diego, California. She is also survived by her daughter, Frances Stanzl of Sparrowbush, NY, 2 step-sons- Arthur Klass of W. Virginia, and Peter Klass of Astoria, NY; 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her 2 daughters, Jean Lutrell and and Audrey Rothman and 2 grandsons-George Lutrell and Keith Rothman. Visitation and services were held at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY on Tuesday December 22, 2009. Interment will be private.
