MARY E. CLARK, GULFPORT, FLORIDA, FORMERLY OF HUGUENOT, NEW YORK

Mary E. Clark, age 90, of Gulfport, Florida and formerly lifelong resident of Huguenot, NY, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2009 at the Palms of Pasadena Hospital, Pasadena, FL.

She was born on April 18, 1919 in Huguenot, NY, the daughter of the late John and Almedia Sarine Decker.

Mary was a retired seamstress for Andmore Sportswear, Inc., Port Jervis. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, Gulfport, FL.

Mary is survived by three sons: Stanley Clark and his wife, Bertha Mae of Tallahassee, FL, Gurney Curtis and his wife, Angela of Monticello, NY and Harry Chudley and his partner, Juan Aponte of Gulfport, FL; her daughter, Almedia Mary Morgan and her husband, John of Huguenot, NY; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, Larry and John Clark; several sisters and brothers.

Friends may call Wednesday, August 26, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 27, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Bishop Scott Ey will officiate. Interment will take place at Rural Valley Cemetery, Cuddebackville, NY.
