Hilda M. McGraw, 67, of Port Jervis, a cashier for Save-A-Lot in Port Jervis, died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at home in Port Jervis, NY.The daughter of the late George Benson Romer and Audrey Irene Wilson, she was born January 31, 1942 in Warwick, NY.Survivors include three daughters: Shawn Smith and husband, Kevin of Bloomingburg, Sherri McGraw and fiancè, James Dooney of Port Jervis, and Shannon Vanhorn and husband, Vince of Port Jervis; three sisters: Shirley Cooper, Trudy Baez and husband, Milford, and Keturah Romer; seven brothers: Jesse Romer, George B. Romer Jr. and wife, Linda, Douglas E. Romer and wife, Patricia, Charles E. Romer and Christine, Edsell P. Romer and wife, Julia, Russell Romer and wife, Kelly, Donald D. Romer and wife, Laurie; four grandchildren: David and Sarah Smith, Colin and Colby Dooney; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Allen Romer and a sister, Irene Blair.Visitation will be from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., today, Thursday, July 23, at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY.Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, July 24, at the funeral home.
