Nora M. McDermott age 66, and a retired secretary of Port Jervis, NY passed away Sunday May 31, a the Milford Senior Care Health & Rehabilitation Facility, Westfall Twshp, Pa. She was born on april 9, 1943 at Jersey City, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Casey McDermott. Nora is survived by 2 cousins, Marina Gately of Amarillo, Texas and Marici Ulrich of Otisville, NY, her nephew John Lesch of NY, NY, and her 3 very close friends, Joan Cunningham of Godeffroy, NY Barbara Ann Baker of Cuddebackville, and Eileen Naughton of Hazlet, NJ. Private services were held at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Port Jervis,-Deerpark Humane Society, Route 209, Port Jervis, NY 12771.
