EVE M. SOLIMENE, MATAMORAS, PA.

Eve M. Solimene, age 89, late of Matamoras, PA, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2008 at Belle Reve in Milford, PA. She was born on February 26, 1919 at Mountainview, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Lester Macdonald and Eva Mae Potter Macdonald. Eve was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse at St. Claire's Hospital, Sussex, NJ. She was married to the late Hugo Solimene. Eve is survived by her sister, Shirley Scheulen of Fairlawn, NJ; two nieces, Nancy and Judy, and three nephews: Ron, Andy and Bob. She was predeceased by two sisters, Viola Snelson and Josephine McDonald. Friends may call on Tuesday, November 18, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, NY. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday Nov. 18, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Patt Kauffman officiating. Interment will take place at Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa, NJ.
