LEROY A. GURDINEER JR., PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK

LeRoy A. Gurdineer Jr., 66, of Port Jervis, passed away Monday, March 17, 2008 at Bon Secours Community Hospital, Port Jervis, NY. He was born August 29, 1941 in Nyack, NY, the son of the late LeRoy Gurdineer Sr. and Ruth Cronk Gurdineer. LeRoy was a plant supervisor for Pike County Environmental, Matamoras, PA. He was a member of the Tri-State Rod & Gun Club, and the N.R.A. He married the late Marie Belle Cantwell Gurdineer. He is survived by his daughter, Kim-Marie Melnick and her husband George of Port Jervis; his granddaughter, Jessica Melnick; his grandson, Noah Melnick; and 1 niece. He was predeceased by his sister Dawn. Friends may call Thursday, March 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis. Funeral services will be held Friday March 21 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Robert Mayer will officiate. Interment will take place at Pine Hill Cemetery, Sparrowbush, NY.
