GIOVANO "JOHN" MILONE, GREENWOOD LAKE, NEW YORK

Giovano "John" Milone, 81, of Greenwood Lake, NY, passed away Sunday February 17, 2008 at The Orange Regional Medical Center, Horton Campus, Middletown, NY. He was born September 18, 1926 at Jersey City, NJ, the son of the late Giovano and Cecelia Angelo Milone. John was a self-employed carpenter, and a veteran of WW II, serving with the U.S. Army. He married the late Carmen Marchand Milone. John is survived by his two daughters, Janice Fredricks and her husband Robert of Matamoras PA and Laura Melone of Greenwood Lake, NY; 3 grandchildren, Paul, Dorian and Alexandra; 4 great-grandchildren, Cierra, Cooper, Jakob and Nina; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two daughters, Susan and Linda.Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Cremation will take place at HG Smith Crematory, Stroudsburg, PA. Memorial contributions may be made to charity of donor's choice. Arrangements are by the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home.
