GEORGE T. LOMBARDI, HUGUENOT, NEW YORK

George Thomas Lombardi, age 74, of Huguenot, NY and formerly of Briarcliff Manor, Westchester County, NY passed away Friday May 8, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center. He was born on January 12, 1941 in Rye, NY, the son of the late John and Mary Lombardi. George graduated from Sleepy Hollow High School. He married Carol A. Langle on April 20, 1963. George owned Hudson Valley Landscaping Corporation. George is survived by his daughter, Dawn Orza and her husband Louie of Briarcliff Manor, NY; his sons, David Lombardi and his wife Linda of Katonah, NY, and Danny Lombardi and his wife Joanne, of Bear, DE; his daughter, Diane VanderBrink and her husband Brian of Cincinnati, OH; nine grandchildren, Catherine, Lucien, Grace, Emma, Nicholas, Oskar, Abby, Joy and Paige; and his sister, Suzanne DeSanctis and her husband Guy of Valhalla, NY. George was predeceased by his brother, John D. Lombardi. George and his wife Carol, retired to their farm in Huguenot in the year 2000 to enjoy their horses and relax on the Neversink River. They celebrated their 50^th wedding anniversary in April of 2013. A memorial service for the couple will be held on Saturday May 30^th at 10am at the Hawthorne Reformed Church 65 Broadway, Hawthorne, NY 10532.
