WAYNE C. FOUNTAIN, GLEN SPEY, NEW YORK

Wayne C. Fountain of Glen Spey, NY, loving husband, father and friend was lost to us all on Sunday afternoon. Wayne worked at Boro North Auto Collision and enjoyed his love of painting flames which as he would say “a lot of licks”. He took pride in his work as an artist with his many paint jobs that can be seen around the region. Wayne lived his life to the fullest in everything that he did. Wayne called himself a “weekend warrior” due to the love of riding his “bike” and the freedom that it gave him. He was so very proud of his daughters and Grandsons, his nieces and nephews and what they all accomplished so far in their lives. He loved showing his grandsons how to use an airbrush. He was an inspiration to his Grandsons who always wanted him to show them how to draw flames, skulls and just about anything else that had to do with motorcycles. Wayne was also one of the nine owners of their hunting club “Run-a-Muck”. His nickname was “Buckle Drag” due to his way of walking….need we say anymore. He is survived by his loving wife and bestess friend, Terri Chase Fountain, daughter Karie Schreibel and her husband David of Barryville, NY, daughter Casey Goddard and her husband Frank of Sparrowbush, NY. Brothers, Robert of Sparrowbush and George and Maureen Fountain of Glen Spey, NY. Grandsons, Cody, Dylan, Devon and Riley. Sister in law and Brother in law, Lorry Chase King and husband Wayne. Brother in law and sister in law John and Cheryl Chase. Many nieces and nephews, Aunts, Uncles and a slew of cousins. He will be missed by us all. Wayne was predeceased by his older brother Gene Fountain. Memorial service will be Friday, August 31 at 11:00 am at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 East Main Street, Port Jervis, New York. Joyce Davis will officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Lumberland Volunteer Fire & Ambulance Department P.O. Box 91, Glen Spey, NY 12737.
