Frederick A. Cleveland, Mill Rift, Pa.

Frederick A. Cleveland, 74, a retired Furnace Technician for Agway Products, Port Jervis and a lifelong resident of the Mill Rift, Pa., died Sunday, May 20, 2007 at Allied Skilled Nursing Center, Scranton, Pa.Son of the late Frederick and Ethel Hood Cleveland, he was born in Trinidad, Colo. on December 5, 1932.He attended the Milford Bible Church, Milford, Pa. He was a member of the Mill Rift Fire Dept. and a former member of the Westfall Township Police Dept.Survivors include his wife, Oliff Cook Cleveland, at home; one son, Frederick W. Cleveland and his wife, Kathie of Mill Rift, Pa.; one granddaughter, Laurie Fuller and her husband, Edward Jr. of Milford, Pa.; two great grandsons, Alan and Justin; and one niece and one nephew.Memorial services will be held Friday, May 25, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, 154 E. Main St., Port Jervis, N.Y. The Rev. Brian Garver will officiate. William Henry Pisarri, Chicago, Ill., Formerly of Milford, Pa.

William Henry Pisarri, a lifelong resident of the area, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2007 in Chicago, Ill. He was 35.The son of Van Pisarri and Marlene Roeder Pisarri, he was born September 1, 1971 in Port Jervis.Bill was a self-employed artist, and was a graduate of The Art Institute of Chicago.A Family Statement reads: "He was an aspiring artist, film maker, scriptwriter and painter. He toured Europe with the "Flying Luttenbachers" Band, and was mentioned in the Rolling Stone Magazine."Survivors include his mother, Marlene Pisarri of Port Jervis; his father and step-mother, Van and Susan Pisarri of Milford, Pa.; one brother, Giovanni Pisarri and one sister, Melissa Pisarri, both at home; his maternal grandmother, Helen Hawkins Roeder of Huguenot; his paternal grandmother, Antonia Pisarri of Rivervale, N.J.; and several cousins, aunts and uncles.Friends may call on Wednesday, May 23, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-8 p.m. at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Winnie B. Myers, Elded, New York

Winnie B. Myers, a homemaker and lifelong resident of the area, entered into rest on Friday, May 18, 2007 at St. Joseph's Place, Port Jervis, N.Y. She was 76.The daughter of the late Winford and Bessie Horton Bennett, she was born November 17, 1930 in West Caldwell, N.J. She is the widow of John E. Myers.Winnie was a member of the Eldred Congregational Church; a member of River Valley Chapter #33, O.E.S., and member of The Order of the Amaranth.Survivors include her two sons, Kenneth Myers and his wife, Cheryl of Washingtonville, and Raymond Myers of Eldred; one brother, Alfred Bennett of Easton, Md.; one grandson, Gregory Pentz, and several nieces and nephews.Friends may call on Monday, May 21, from 12 noon to 1 p.m. at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Anthony P. Corvino, Milford, Pa.

Anthony P. Corvino of Milford, Pa., died peacefully with his son by his side on Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at St. Joseph's Place. He was 87.The son of the late Anthony Corvino and Clorinda Gulielmelli, he was born March 26, 1920 in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was married to the late Lucretia Messa Corvino.Mr. Corvino was a retired Metropolitan Life Insurance Agent in West Nyack, N.Y. He retired to the area in 1984. He was a member of Nyack Monday Morning Quarterbacks; Tri-State Chorus; Pike County Cancer Survivors Group, as well as a World War II Veteran. Tony loved to sing and write poetry and he participated in many community performances in both Rockland and Pike counties.Survivors include one son, Robert Corvino and his wife, Elizabeth of Port Jervis; one sister, Marie Varelli of Brooklyn, N.Y.; one brother, Michael Corviono; one grandson, Robert Corvino; one granddaughter, Karen Corvino; as well as several nieces and nephews.He was predeceased by two brothers, John and Louis Corvino of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and one sister, Laurita Tumminelli of Brooklyn, N.Y.Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2007 at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E. Effie King, Sparrowbush, New York

Effie M. King, a lifelong resident of the area, died Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Valley View Nursing Home in Goshen, N.Y. She was 87.The daughter of the late Frank and Gertrude Quick Felter, she was born March 25, 1920 in Forestburg, N.Y. She was the widow of Paul F. King.Effie was a retired Winder for Vaucansen Silk Mill in Port Jervis, N.Y. She was a longtime avid Flea Market Vendor at the Matamoras Flea Market in Matamoras, Pa.Survivors include two stepdaughters, Dolores Misner of Appalachia, N.Y. and Joan Hoppey of Seaford, Del.; five brothers: Donald Felter and his wife, Dorothy of Sparrowbush, Harry Felter and his wife, Marie of Sparrowbush, Lester Felter of Port Jervis, Fred Felter and his wife, Betty of Port Jervis, and Robert Felter of Whiting, N.J.; five grandchildren: Will Hoppey, Greg Misner, Michael Misner, Jane Bachman and Mary Jo Clancey, and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services were privately held on Tuesday, May 1, 2007. WILLIAM F. FORBES, PORT JERVIS, NEW YORK

William F. Forbes, a lifelong resident of the area, entered into rest on Friday, April 27, 2007, at home. He was 63.The son of Grace Martin Forbes and the late John "Jack" Forbes, he was born February 27, 1944 in Port Jervis, N.Y.William was a retired Auto Mechanic for Ford Motor Co. in Mahwah, N.J., and a Proprietor of Bill's Auto Repair in Huguenot, N.Y. He was a member of Grace Episcopal Church in Port Jervis, a 26-year member of the Neversink Valley Grange #1530 in Huguenot, and a member of the United Auto Workers Union.In addition to his mother of Port Jervis, survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Somarelli Forbes at home; one son, William A. Forbes of Central Valley; three daughters: Suzette Fitzpatrick and her husband, Tom of Port Jervis, Rosey Forbes of Littleton, Colo., and Marilyn Tynatishon and her husband, Timothy of West Moreland, N.Y.; two brothers, Jack Forbes and his wife, Nancy of Brewster, and James Forbes and his wife, Sandy of Boiling Springs, Pa.; one sister, Carol Forbes of Port Jervis; four grandchildren: Justin, Katelin, Colin and Ciera; and several nieces and nephews.Friends may call at the Knight-Auchmoody Funeral Home, Inc., 154 E.
